Scott and Jason deliver excellent customer service, they have done numerous types of repair work on my 84’ Monte Carlo from transmission, engine, carburetor, brakes, and even a new carburetor install and tune up. If something is not right or if they forget something they always welcome you to come back and they will make things right for you. I trust this auto repair shop, they always value my business and treat me like I am important and really care about doing the job well!

I've been doing research as to who to go to for my 93 Wrangler for roughly 2 months. Well after a recommendation from "Wanda" over at "Jerrys Garage" (the shop that's been dealing with my jeep and my dad for years), I'm very glad I came to this place! Scott was very informative and steered me towards great financial aid to help with cost. The 3 day turn around is a nice bonus too! So far it's a little over a month and still runs like brand new ; like factory new! Shifts are smooth and I'll definitely be coming back for future Jeep needs. Lastly, they may be called "Transmission Experts" but don't let that fool you for they do practically everything and a fine job too:)

DO NOT LET THESE GUYS HAGGLE YOU INTO LEAVING THEM A 5 star rating! Original rating was 5 stars as Scott was persistent on me leaving them a hood rating. However, after just 14 months of driving the $3700 transmission that I bought from them went out and when I called to see if they could work with me on the warranty, the gentleman told me my warranty had expired. Took the truck to a shop in spring, Texas and the tech said the casing wasn’t even a new casing and was all marred up on the inside. Which I was told by Transmission Experts they put brand new everything. The tech at the new shop was showing me the quality of gears that was in the transmission versus what they use and there was a huge difference!

Just please beware!

My transmission Experts shop in Porter Tx is a really great shop and location. Scott and Jason are really cool and we're serious about making sure I was back on the road in no time. Staff and and the mechanics were professional and on point. They zeroed in on my transmission problems and my brake problems and fixed it. Now I'm rolling with a new transmission and new brakes all for a good price. They also treated me like family. Thanks guys. I'll continue to refer anyone I come across that needs help to come to this location.

Scott was really professional and very helpful, they helped me repair the transmission on my 2013 Chevy Suburban with 3 years of warranty, best service. They also helped me finance that way I didn’t have to pay it in full. Would definitely recommend.

Charged my mom $700 to look at the transmission then another $2300 to rebuild a transmission that was just taken out of another transmission shop! Instead of fixing it they are forcing her to pay for a rebuild! Can’t trust anyone anymore!

These guys took care of a real trouble car for me. Had a 2011 GTI transmission going out and they set me up good with all brand new parts and a 3yr warranty. Great guys owner is very personal and attentive to what you need.

Right after I posted this the car immediately broke down. The car has now been in the shop for 3 months. I realize a vw is "foreign" but I've tried to leave 3 times now and all 3 times I have had to call them back with a tow truck cause of some problem that was supposed to be fixed. Staff has been super nice but 3 months in the shop is pushing it. The biggest pro here is that I bought the warranty and it has been honored.

Scott was great to deal with and an honest guy. You will be hard pressed to find a better person and place to get your vehicle repaired. Pricing was fair and less than the used transmission option offered by another establishment in Humble.

We had a transmission issue and Scott was the third place we went to looking for a diagnosis and cost to repair. The first place we went to only offered the option for a used or new transmission. The second place in Humble out right lied saying the vehicle had lost communication with the computer. They wanted to charge us $595 to pull the transmission to see what was wrong with it saying “we are in control”. I said “you would be in control with vehicle in the air with transmission tore apart. ” Due to him saying there were multiple trouble codes but we never even had a check engine light or any light on the dash I felt that place was deceptive. The guy could not give me a worst case scenario price even. Scott on the other hand was able to provide a worst case scenario price before moving forward.

This is worst experience of my life and any other reading this and haven't experience worst one yet please take your vehicle to MY Transmission expert I dropped my car in march with transmission issue and picked 4 times but every time I picked not just transmission still an issue but in addition to couple other issue, today 27 Aug I went to pick my car up thinking everything will be fixed and this worst dream of my life is over but no this time they refused to do anything with my car transmission light is still ON AC isn't working because there is no serpentine belt on the compressor and other one was snapped too, while they change the alternator on my car.they damage my car wheel and front bumper, they lifted my car wrong and damage side skirts I am sharing some pictures so you guys have an idea how bad it can be taking your vehicle to them. I am going to sue them for all this time they wasted of mine in addition to 3500 I paid for to get transmission fixed and not mention all other damages they did to my car.

From start to end Scott was a huge awesome help. From picking up my car from my house on a flat bed like I asked and taking care of it at the shop with the transmission it needed, built it with good quality parts and let me knew if anything else needed to be fixed like my driveshaft. Had one ordered and installed quickly and called me when it was ready. I went to pick it up and test drove and gave it hell and the transmission and the driveshaft was awesome with no vibration. Awesome experience here and would come back again. Thanks to all the employees for being careful with my car. REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I took my car to My Transmission Experts because my Toyota 4runner needed some differential work. It wound up costing me a bit more than I was hoping for (No one enjoys unexpected car repairs) but Mark assured me that they would use OEM parts and the work would be performed by an experienced technician. After taking my vehicle home I took out the paper mat off the floor mats and noticed some grease on the carpet. I took it back to Scott and let him know. He promptly had it cleaned. I appreciate the hard work and the apology and prompt cleaning. I highly recommend going to this shop if you need work done.

Scott was very very helpful with providing information on what the problem was and what they needed to do to fix my transmission. They had a quick turn around time on my truck and kept me updated on the whole process. Towed my truck to the shop for free as well. Love the service. My truck runs like a dream. Highly recommend.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. Since having my repairs done my truck has spent more time at there shop then at home and nothing changes I get my truck back in the same condition it was in when I left it there

Looking for some certain parts for my transmission couldn't find them anywhere showed up at there shop just asking about them. The shop manager went to the back found my parts within 2 minutes came back settled up. These guys are very knowledgeable about transmissions, will be going back to them if I have anymore problems with my transmission, look them up

I went to this company. Not knowing what to expect. And my lifetime I have heard of these so-called transmission guys that lied to you cheat you and still not do the repairs that is necessary for your transmission. However my transmission experts walk me through it tell me exactly what they were going to do and to my surprise they did exactly what they said they were going to do! They went above and beyond the call of duty. They even helped me out with financing and payment of the work that they have performed. The day that I got my truck 2005 if 150 out of the shop I got rear-ended by another vehicle shortly thereafter on my way home. My transmission experts helped me in that aspect also. So if I ever have another issue with my vehicle I will definitely take it to my transmission expert in Porter located on
highway 494. If they are unequipped to help you in whatever matter you have for your vehicle I trust that they can at least point you in the right direction to be able to get your vehicle back on the road properly.
