Myron's Prime Steakhouse, New Braunfels TX

Great service. Sides taste great (mashed taters). Steaks have good flavor. It's a little pricy, considering you can get a similar flavored steak at Texas Roadhouse. But nice to go for an anniversary dinner or the like as we did.

Food was pretty good, nothing spectacular. Service was exceptionally slow. Hostess sat us right across from a large party in an otherwise fairly empty restaurant. Overall just wasn't really impressed. But I guess for the only steakhouse in New Braunfels it'll do. I'd probably just order to go next time honestly.

Revised from a three star review to a five star review. In the last few years for whatever reason the quality of the steaks and the accuracy of preparation has increased dramatically. Myrons New Braunfels can now be considered one of the best steak houses in the U. S.

My husband and I most favorite restaurant in New Braunfels. Food is always delicious, quality. We’ve eaten at many steakhouses all around US and Myrons is still always top 3 for their filet. They also make an incredible dirty martini w/ blue cheese olives. Service is always great. Can’t go wrong with a dinner here!

Tonight’s adventure led us to Myron’s. Fantastic! From the bread to the salad to the Blackened Halibut and Ahi Tuna Medallions…. Phenomenal! Superb service and no wait at all walked right in during peak dinner hour and First Night Out downtown!

Appetiser salad was inedible. Service was great thanks Mike but the food was disgusting and over priced

Best cuts and flavors of steaks in this town. $80-$120 per person but well worth it. Drinks are phenomenal, food was great portions and perfect cuts. Wife got the filet and I had the Surf and Turf. Exactly what we were looking for for date night.

Yes, their filet is as tender as they come. The starter bread was a warm and soft white loaf, easy to fill up on. The included salad is pretty basic, a slice of iceberg topped with dressing. However, you can order additional toppings (bacon, tomato, blue cheese crumbles) for $2 ea. The food arrived quickly and we quickly cut into our filets and my little 6 oz was black and blue perfection.
The temperature of everyone else's steaks were also accurate. The favorite side on our table was hands down the jalapeno Mac with just the right amount of zing. The broccoli au gratin and scalloped potatoes, were delicious and arrived topped with copious amounts of real melted cheese. I personally wasn't impressed with the mushrooms, not browned enough and under seasoned, but the rest of the table raved about them. Of our three desserts, the creme brulee was the winner and one of the creamiest with a strong vanilla flavor. The cheesecake was very dense, and less sweet than most but it works out well with the super sweet berry topping. Our third dessert was vanilla ice cream, and um, yeah. The service is very good, Colby was attentive and courteous throughout our dinner. The drawbacks: no beer on tap, no prime rib, and you're on your own for parking. Plan to spend ~$120 pp

Outstanding high-end steak house! I ordered catch of the day and it was off-the-chart amazing. Likewise, every course of the meal was perfection. Highly recommend the jalapeño soup and bread pudding dessert!

Salmon was under done. Food was below expectations for the price. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Great atmosphere, food, and service. The filet, garlic mashed potatoes, and jalapeño macaroni and cheese were delicious! Finished dinner with a crème brûlée dessert. Highly recommend!

We were served by Mike and had a great dinner! The bone in ribeye did not disappoint and was cooked just as ordered!

We’ve been to Myron’s three times now over the last few months. The food and service have been amazing every time. We really appreciate the server we had last night, Alex, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend the Filet and Scalloped Potatoes! Everyone and everything was eloquent and fantastic. The service was on point, informative, courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was romantic, quiet, low light and amicable for having conversations. The food was excellent and touched every aspect from savory to sweet and all around delicious.
