I normally can't go wrong with kalguksu at the any korean restaurant but it was an unpleasant taste of food I've ever had. I left all behind.

Easy to get a table on a weekday night, it's located in the same plaza strip as 7 leaves. They are known for their dumplings and noodles with a wide selection of items on the menu. We ordered the beef bulgogi, knife cut noddles with the spicy chicken broth, and pork dumplings.

Really big portion for each dish and wait wasn't too long either. The spicy chicken broth noodles had just the right amount of spicy, not too overwhelming. The noodles had a good texture, not too soggy or too thick. The beef bulgogi and pork dumplings were also very delish. Services were friendly. Would definitely come back again.

I never knew what authentic Korean food was like until I found MDK! The Bulgogo Bibimbap is amazing, it's my go-to for a sizzling, savory lunch. Super nice staff and the kimchi is awesome too!

Service was great and the atmosphere was quaint. However, the food leaves much to be desired. Aside from the dumpling dishes and pork dish, everything else was ordinary.

This place is really nice inside, great light, and a good Saturday lunch spot. Service was good, server was friendly and recommended the pan-fried dumplings. So glad we tried them, so different than any pan-fried we had tried. Delicious, and good sauces on the table to try. We also got shrimp steamed dumplings, and the kitchen, cabbage and turnips for starters were good too.

Wishing people knew more about this place. The noodle and soups taste really fresh as they claim. Their kimchi has a unique flavor compared to just the sour taste that we're use to. Show some love to this place!

Worst Korean food in my life — worst 냉면, 김치 — taste like rag. I should’ve read all the review which Koreans left. Never ever go back.

Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The server was really kind and great. The food is amazing, especially their kimchi. The deals and portions they have were great. Highly recommend

Visited the restaurant on a late Sunday afternoon. Food was mediocre but the service was extremely slow. Had to call for service three times. Waited almost 30 minutes for our beers and soju. Don’t think we will return since there are a plethora of options along Bellaire.

For price point the food was very mediocre.
The kalguksu was probably the best compared to the cold noddles.
Galbi tasted good but very little amount.

This place used to be one of my favorites but not anymore unfortunately…They used to be good in quality and the taste but not sure what happened. Rather disappointing. I went today for lunch with some colleagues and we all ordered hot noodles but they tasted sour and did not taste right as before. I’m really hoping not to get sick later. Pan fried dumplings were overcooked. Service was not good at all they didn’t even ask if we needed anything not once. Even the water tasted funny. We decided not to go back. Think this explains why they were only three tables during lunch hour? So sad.

On Sunday, May 21 around 12: 15pm, I went there for lunch and sat at the right corner towards the register. There was 1 table next to us but they left by the time we got our food. So it was just my table. Later that day, I called them at 8: 17pm, for about 44 seconds. I let them know I was there during lunch time & told him I left my purse and gave him a description on what my purse looked like and he confirmed that it’s there. He then told me to pick it any time and I told him I’ll pick it up some time that following week, then he hung up the phone right before i had the chance to give him my information. And then, I was thinking that my purse was the only item that was left behind at this restaurant, because he did not provide me any questions about my purse. My husband went to go pick up my purse on Tuesday night and the worker told him that somebody already picked it up. And my husband called me told me about what had happened and then I told him there is no way that's possible, because I didn’t tell the workers who was going to pick it up. The Korean lady there, told me her employee already gave away MY PURSE to this random guy who was looking for his wife’s wallet and purse and so he (the worker) assumed both of the items belonged to his wife, without confirming any of the information. In my mind, I was pretty sure both of the items were left behind at the restaurant at different times, by different people. And so, my question is, why would he think that it would be the same person would possess both of these different belongings? And then I asked the lady if they have any cameras and her response was that the cameras are not working, because someone broke in on Friday or whatever & said there is no surveillance footage of this interaction. And then she literally yelled at me asking “why didn’t you pick it up earlier? ! ” She said that twice. And I was extremely shocked because how was she going to raise her voice at me over the phone & not even say sorry at all. And they have nerve to tell my husband that it’s not their fault, when they literally gave away MY PURSE to a random man. The lady told me she will call us back the next day, which was Wednesday, and now it's already Friday and they have not called me back.

I am a big fan of Myeongdong Gyoza in Korea. So I came here from Dallas and the taste was really different. It’s just a kalguksu restaurant. The service was very good and friendly, but as a fan of Myeongdong Gyoza, I am very disappointed.

So awesome! Loved it. Service was great. The noodles? Yesssssss. Especially on this cool stormy day. I spit the regular Kalguksu with my kiddo, the spicy probably would have been more my speed but it was delightful. Deep meaty broth with excellent textures from veggies. The dumplings were ABSOLUTELY A TREAT. Loved them. The bulgogi pancake? Perfect. This was a savory and heartwarming meal. Add this one to the list for fresh homemade noodles daily.

Great food and service! You get a lot for the price! Also every time I have ordered take out theh gave me a tub of kimchi. Yes really, a small tub! Their kimchi is so fresh I enjoyed eating it over several days! If you like Korean food, especially noodles, check this place out!

Only the dumplings are delicious and the cold noodles, Dongchimi noodles, etc.are not tasty.
There is no toilet paper in the bathroom and it is dirty.
