Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital

Cannot express enough the wonderful care received in Labor ans delivery! The nurses and midwives were so kind and accommodating! It was a wonderful birth experience.

There's a ER doctor that who is a terrible doctor, I recommend that you take yourself to the Medical Hospital Great staff and Doctor's awaiting for you at the Nacogdoches Medical Center

I often make the trip from Lufkin to Nacogdoches memorial b/c of the compassion and ER staff. My visit today was totally different! The shift changed while I was in the ER and boy what a difference between night and day! The night shift nurse /Dr. Is very rude! Only gave one b/c that was only way to leave a review

Nurse Darby and Dr Hamar were really great. You can tell they truly care and are not treating you like just a patient. They explain and listen very well. The nurse by far was the best I believe I have had. Thank you both for the compassionate care.

I have had many experiences with the "other" hospital, and because of those experiences, I decided to give Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital a chance when my dad had to go to the ER this weekend.

What an amazing hospital!
Every staff member that I interacted with was friendly, informative, and engaged. I never once felt as if my dad's needs or my questions were of any kind of bother or inconvenience.

I had taken my dad to the ER at the "other" hospital a minimum of 3 times with the same issue and was sent home after being told they couldn't find anything wrong each time.

Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital not only told us what was wrong but admitted him and while resolving that issue addressed two other issues.

The ER staff, the floor nurse, the doctors, and all the support staff were/are amazing to interact with.

Thank y'all so much for taking exemplary care of my dad.

Go look at their rating this year F in safety. Only one of 12 in nation if that tells you anything you need to know. Appalling!

I went into the ER here for severe pain in my abdomen, the ER nurse (I don’t remember his name but he had a tattoo sleeve and glasses) was super friendly, and did everything in his power to get me feeling better. I ended up getting admitted and my nurse Kristy is absolutely phenomenal, she has been taking wonderful care of me and keeping me as pain free as possibly. We had a separate situation happen as well and they have kept my information completely private and have kept me very safe. I highly recommend here and their entire staff!

The worst place. Never go there. They just stole $600 from me just for going in, I stayed less than 20 minutes, they didn’t even treat me, gave me prescription for medicine that got me feeling way worse. I had to go back because I was worried for side effects, they forced me in and didn’t even tell me weither it was the medicine or not. Once I was in, they made me wait without anyone so that they would get more money. This is a scam, a money maker.

Recently visited the ER with my grandmother and was extremely pleased with the care received. Joshua, the night ER nurse attended to my grandmother with such a wonderful care, my grandma doesn't speak English and Joshua is Caucasian but he made sure to acknowledge her and explain every single step and kept us well informed. Second floor was great also. I stopped going to this hospital years ago because their care and customer service was not the best but after this last visit I think my children and I will be coming back. Thank you NMH and thank you ER Nurse Joshua, you are the best I have seen! (I promise I do not know this wonderful nurse!)

My mom was taken to Memorial Hospital Er on Sunday. She was having chest pain, coughing, difficulty breathing, and a feeling of "drowning". The ER staff put her on oxygen, drew blood, and did a chest xray. The doctor ordered benedryl through her IV. I still don't know why the doctor ordered benadryl.it did not fit any of her symptoms. She then sat in the ER room for about 5 hours. When I asked the doctor for an update on Mom, he told me that she was not going to die and they would get to her when they had time. (Triage)
By midnight she was transferred to Lufkin ST Luke's CHI hospital. At the Lufkin hospital, she was put in ICU care and diagnosed with a heart attack and a mild UTI. We found out that she had 2 blocked arteries and needed 2 stents put in. The cardiologist there was able to do the heart cath and put in the stents. My Mom and I are so thankful for the care and treatment from Lufkin ST Luke's CHI. I do not recommend Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital at all. It used to be a good honorable hospital but something changed.

The ER is so filthy. The bathrooms with no soap no napkins blood stains in the floor and walls. It seems that they don’t care about keeping it clean. DIRTY DIRTY place.

This hospital literally scored an F for patient safety! 1 out of only 12 in the nation! That speaks volumes to the care they give you here!

If you have all day to wait, then come here. You'll wait an hour or 2 in the waiting room. Once they have you in a room, you'll wait a good 2 or 3 more hours. Trust me. I've been here more than once & I regret it every single time. Please go to Nac Medical Center by the big Walmart, they actually care about time & people.

I went to the worst hospital in history at Nacogdoches memorial. I sat in a waiting room for 30 minutes only me. I was sent to a room where I listened to the charge nurses for 3 hours talk about the weekend and it was Wednesday. I finally started coughing enough to make them look in the room and she replied I didn't know you were in here. My lawyers and I will be talking about this and there staff about this soon. Tbc

Was admitted on New Years Eve & the ER staff, along with 2nd floor staff was nothing but nice & friendly
