Nails Now, Plano TX

Had the worst nail experience ever. The technician never asked about the length of the nails and she trimmed it to the core. Absolutely hated the service and it was done in under 20mins. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I’m never returning back ever.

You should be very specific about what you want and pay attention the entire time. Something else to note: They will try to upsell you even if it is not what you want, and use all of the typical tactics used by unscrupulous salons. I've heard people say great things about this nail salon, and I assume everyone has a different experience, but I couldn't recommend this nail salon to anyone after the experience I had. My nails were ruined at Nails Now, and it will take months to repair the damage they caused by selling services I did not want to increase their bottom line.

Unclean tools and manicurist rush through the services and skip things supposed to be included. I've gone here twice now, I really wanted to like this place because it was recommended to me by some friends. Both times, the manicurists spents several minutes trying to upsell me on dip even though I was clear about wanting gel from the get go. They acted like I didn't know what I wanted. Seriously, a back and forth that was super annoying. Then they each completely skipped the hand massage at rhe end. The work has been sloppy and streaky and I had to ask for clean up both times. The most recent time I went, I ordered the deluxe manicure which includes additional services and the manicurist just walked away without a word without doing the additional service (wax dip) - I had to ask if she had left for the day or what, her coworkers tracked her down and she finally came back, and she set it up but didn't finish with a massage which even a basic manicure includes. When we went to leave, they charged me for the service which she had forgotten to do until I reminded her, and simply gave me a $5 discount - honestly, not a very good discount for the trouble I went through considering that she never even completed the service, just walked away and never came back. The pedicures came out great, that's been the only saving grace. The worst part about all of this is that my partner developed infections in several of his nail beds after coming here. They got swollen and very painful, even filled with pus. I can only assume this is from using nonsterile tools and equipment. Super not okay! Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am new to Plano and have been checking many nail places to find my favorite. And I think I just did Amazing staff! Very patient! Seems like they all care about you. I just had the best pedicure of my lifeeee! I chose the Jello option for my pedicure and It was the most joyful pedicure experience of my life. Aside from that I got the pedicure Gel done by Lien.
My nails were done by Miss T amazing and friendly.
I am so glad that I visited this place and these two ladies are now my favorite Nail specialists in Plano thank u ladies

Lovely experience! I’ve been to a lot of nail salons. Zach was awesome as soon as I walked in to the door he had a calm collected attitude even though he was answering phones, questions, logging stuff in the computer, and writing down. He assisted me with ease and calmness!

He made sure my nails were being prepped for the next person to assist me. Lots of color choices! That’s definitely a must!

Lily was the one that completed my dip powered nails, she was fantastic! Detailed, thoroughly paying attention to detail, made great conversation, triple checked her work, and made sure my nails were exactly what I expected! I will definitely be back! My nails weren’t too thick and the exact natural shape I was looking for! Every time I go I hear great reviews from people that have been going for years! Lien is so great at pedicures and such a sweet person! Highly recommend Nails Now!

A great nail salon! The service was amazing and if you want to nap while you get your toes done or talk they are cool with both! 10/10 will be back!

1st time visiting yesterday! Was wonderful, friendly ladies greeting me, got to see a selection of their nail colors, regulars were there.
Good price. Didnt push other services and then be grumpy when declined. Was super happy. Thank you!

Love this place! The very first time I came here, Jennie and Ty did my nails and it felt like I had been coming here forever. I usually take my 70 year old mother with me to get a happy pedicure and dip nails. The ladies here are so sweet to her and accommodating, always making sure she's comfortable and feels beautiful. That alone is priceless to me! First class customer service. I actually dislike getting my nails done bc it's so boring lol. But coming here feels like I'm visiting with old friends. Always 100% happy with my nails every single time. It's especially important bc I need to take a lot of ring selfies for my store Adore Bijoux Jewelers. I have already recommended them to my SIL, friends and even my bf has gotten a pedicure with them lololol

The lady who removed my dipped nails was so rude and told me that because I did not answer her question she can’t shape my nail the way I want. So unprofessional.

Idk if it’s the products they’re using or if they’re just applying it wrong but the nails always pop off

1st time to visit Nails Now since I just relocated to the area. I called around 11am and got an appt for 3pm. They did a great job! I got a manicure (tips, dipped, french) and a pedicure (basic, regular polish). FINALLY- a place that does both services at the same time- I've always thought this would be the best way to do it, since it's much faster for the customer! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It's been 2 weeks with no broken, chipped, damaged nails. I plan to return regularly. I didn't take the pic for a review or I would've tried to do a better job

I called yesterday several times between 4 and 430pm to book an appointment for today for Nexgen on my commute home. I'd let the phone ring until it disconnected and never was able to get through at that time. I finally was able to get through at 730 pm to book for 11am today. This should have been my first clue that things were not going to go well, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that they might have been busy and short staffed. I arrived exactly at 11 and was greeted and told to pick a color. Their color selection seemed much smaller than prior appointments, but I chose one and waited. I sat there for 15 minutes with no drink offering, no soaking off my existing nails nor communication on what was going on. I called Sky nails down the street to see if they could accommodate me at that time. They said yes, so I got up and left. Sky nails had a larger color selection, were very friendly and ended up being cheaper. Prior to today the quality has been hit and miss with the powder chipping within a week, not covering the full nail or the nails being uneven.

I've been going to this place for almost four years. Not all nail salons are created equal, no matter who you go to here you will always get a good manicure or pedicure. They're consistently good and actually friendly and welcoming.

Last minute manicure before a wedding and this place served both my partner and I well! Will be back when we return to Dallas!

Asked for a gel manicure ended up with a patchiest color. These photos actually make them look better than they look in person.
