Nak Won Jung Korean Restaurant reviews
15Ordered dishes #1, #21 and #27. Simply delicious! Owners are very kind as well. Next time I'll order #2 and #3.
4/5 STARS - Judging Ham approved!
Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the kindest woman we’ve ever met! When she dropped off our meals, she’d linger for a while and make small talk, complimenting my hair or asking how the meals were. Amazing customer service and the overall vibe felt very homey and comfortable. Korean news media played on the T. V. ‘s and the restaurant was not crowded at all (Wednesday around 2-4 PM). I love the 떡볶이 and 반찬 dishes here, super lovely!
Delicious! Love coming to this place! Love seeing all the posters especially big bang and exo food is amazing I love the cucumber kimchi!
Do not go. I got food poisoning after eating their bibimbap. I was completely out for two days. Furthermore, they come with the bill and ask you to pay while you're eating (!).
The menu is not very friendly for non-korean customers. There is a very short description of the dishes but no pictures on the menu. There are pictures but all the way to the back of the restaurant on the wall. It would help to pit a description of what is in the dish if no pictures are going to be available on the menu.
I assume that the tow ladies serving were part of whom owns the restaurant; they were really sweet. We were treated very well.
As others have said it is easy to miss this place. You would be sleeping on some of the best food that the area has to offer. The staff is so welcoming and warm as well. Great food at a reasonable price with great service. If you have not been here go there and have as close to home cooked meal from a different country as you can get.
Grandma style authentic Korean food. Was super delicious. Hidden Gem in an unlikely spot. Could give 10 stars if possible.
The food was SO good. I went with a group and we had the bulgogi, samgyeopsal, bibimbap, and japchae.all the dishes were delicious and staff was nice ️ pretty cool place if you like kpop too they have pictures of bts and other kpop boys
Left to right: Tteog-bokk-i (rice cakes in hot sauce) ; Bul-GO-G (Barbequed beef) ; I asked for this one to be spicy I think Sam-Gyeob-Sal (Pork belly, bacon)
It’s aight
Edit update: I realized that I got the number 15. (Salted fermented shrimp bean curd soup) but she gave me the number 14. I mean it’s good. But dam. Sad vibes
Great restaurant! We had the #2,3, and 16 and they were all great. And the owners/staff were all super welcoming and friendly!
Best Korean Place I ever went to. You want Korean dishes. Step right up in here. Good environment as well.
Authentic Korean food and experience, just like Seoul in the 90's. Brought back a lot of memories. Food was great. We'll be back!
I ordered the KimBap. Light and filling. The owners are very friendly. Treat you like family which is very different to what I am used to at other restaurants but it isn’t a bad thing. I appreciate the experience. Thank you ladies for the delicious food.
The food was amazing, exactly what we were looking for! I ordered the #3 and my friend got the bulgogi and asked for the hot sauce which is what mine is cooked in I believe. Both dishes were really good, we can't wait to go again next week to try some more!
