National Car Rental, Houston TX

On December 14, a National employee was recklessly driving a vehicle in a parking garage I was at as part of a company event. Their employee hit me causing damage to my front bumper. Matthew took my info and told me that he’s been told it would take a few weeks to get resolution on his end. It’s been over a month with no effort from National to keep me updated on progress. Any effort on tracking progress has been on my end. It’s been met with vague responses like it’s in processing and that they can’t give me a reference number so I can deal with someone besides the local manager. I’m now having to pursue other avenues to get reimbursed from National and the employee. Anyone knows that if the roles were reversed, National would be making a lot more effort to get this situation resolved. At this point I haven’t even seen any verification that it has been filed internally at their end. I’ve given up dealing with the local branch.

Pick up was smooth. The rep was informative, professional, and courteous.

Small National operation out of Embassy Suites Hotel. The team who runs it works hard and gives personal service. They went above and beyond by dropping us at a dealer nearby after our car repair.
