Natural Bridge Caverns reviews
14The caverns have an Amazing natural surreal way of reaching you.well maintained, great tour guides. And 1000s of years of work is beautifully preserved and presented.
Fun place for all age groups. Caverns tour is amazing. They have good outdoor activities as well. You could spend good 2-4 hrs.
Have been to many caves before.
2nd best after Andaman!
Please ensure that the guide pays attention to you and lights up what you want to see!
The caves are pretty cool to see. Inside is HOT and humid. Don’t be fooled by the 70 degrees, with all the walking, you’ll be sweating. Cool to see but can get repetitive. The last leg is the toughest to climb. Makes me think it would be an easier journey to go backwards. I didn’t really explore up top but there were some activities.
Now don't get me wrong, if you're first and only expectations for a cave experience are the beautiful sights. This cave has it in spades, top 5 I've seen.
The price was steep for a hundred year old cave. Military discount didn't bring it under $30 each.
However, the low rating I give is from how atrocious the staff is with guests.
Teenagers, working on a Friday. I get it.
They don't likely get paid anything.
But this felt different, as of they had all just been corralled together that morning and spit on.
One lady was growling as she explained for what I'm sure was the 50th time that day to "turn right and go down the hall.turn right and go down the hall.ect. "
Another young man calls out individual families telling them there is no time for pictures and move along.
What almost made me laugh was when a girl explaining stalactites answered someone's question with a huge sigh and eyes that rolled like spokes on a carriage.
Glad I got to see it, and will never recommend anyone here after there are so many others to choose from in these parts.
It was lovely the caverns are absolutely beautiful and the tour is very informative. I would suggest if you have kids maybe only take them when they are older then 10 just due to the fact that people want to hear the history of it and kids screaming at a small age aren't something you want to hear. Also dress light as it is humid.
Had a wonderful visit! Beautiful place to see! It was a great trip and learning experience too. I recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and history.
Nice place to visit for the family and to get a good workout! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Entrance fee was decent and they did have military discounts.
This was a really nice place. I was worried it was a tourist trap but the tour was worth it and the people working there were very nice.
Always a good visit. My only feedback was the attitude of the staff as we were leaving. We were one of the last tours of the day and we stopped to buy some dippen dots on the way out. The two guys behind the counter seemed very angry that we were holding them up and one of them in particular was very rude in his tone and behavior. The entire rest of the visit was amazing though, caves were cool, tour guide was cool, ticket people were cool, etc but that last interaction as we walked out the door really dimmed the effect.
Jesse was was great. Very informative
And this was hands down one of the coolest caves, we’ve done some in KY, Ireland & Iceland and this was way bigger to explore to the public
The employees were unnecessarily rude and had a bad attitude the entire time. I watched a kid have trouble on the first level, and one of the girls who went to get her rolled her eyes, and PULLED this child to a platform. This other worker yelled at another kid who didn’t understand how to do the zip line and while his mother was trying to comfort them and explain how to do it, he yelled over her to tell the kid he needed to “just hurry up and speed walk” off the platform. Even to put the harness on they were pulling your entire body. The actual course was fun though, it seemed like everyone was trying to ignore staff to make best of the actually course, since no one wants to pay to be in a bad mood.
Don't bring a stroller like we did! Wear good shoes and get ready for breathe taking experience!
This place is a must see here in San Antonio, Texas forget about all the food but not his place. A thousand pictures are not enough to describe how beautiful this place really is: the stalagmites, stalagmites and "stalagfights" hahaha. David (the one with curly hair) was a great tour guide. Since the line is long and some old folks, most of the lights will turn off at the end of each sessions, so I asked David to turn the lights back on so I can see the Glemlin cave. Thank you!
Take note: don't be late and try to stay in the front of the line. Lights are always on in the front line, so you can enjoy the place more. It's really lovely and amazing!
This natural tourist destination beats all the beautiful churches in Europe. For me, that how beautiful this place isa, nd I can compare it with those elaborate and luxury decor from church in Europe.
Btw, if you like your tour guide let them know. Thank you will definitely be appreciated, but cash will go a long way.
