NAU Urology Specialists - Round Rock

Julie was a very good listener and answered all my questions, as well as making several suggestions about my current and future treatment.

All the team members here are super friendly and efficient. I wish all medical facilities ran as smoothly as this.

Review: I had an outstanding experience at NAU Urology Specialists, Round Rock. Dr. Mistry provided exceptional care, combining professionalism with empathy. His ability to explain complex medical jargon in simple terms was truly impressive. The staff also exhibited great support and friendliness. I'd highly recommend their services to anyone seeking top-notch Urology care.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with any physician's office. When I got there, I was asked to fill out one additional form. The lady at the front said it was the only form they didn't have that wasn't previously filled out online. I get into the physician's office and sure enough, they didn't have any of my records, which I anticipated, so I brought all my records with me. They asked to me upload the records through the portal where I submitted all my new patient paperwork. No prob. I take screenshots of the paperwork then submit through the portal. Dustin, the PA, comes in about 5 minutes later and asks, "What's going on? " I very politely asked if he was able to review the documentation I just submitted through the portal. He says, "I did. I want to hear it in your own words though". I said, "Well those were my words, but so I'll try to. " Dustin interrupts, "Okay, well if you don't want to talk I'll just read it again". Those exact words in a very passive aggressive tone. I said, "I don't mind talking, but I'm trying to expedite the information to you as quickly as possible". He goes on to say, "So you're (having this problem). Is there anything else you want to add to that? " So, I go on to repeat the other issues I was hoping to discuss with him which are all listed in detail on the forms and PDF I submitted that he said he read. He goes on to spend a few minutes summarizing a few things and says, "What questions to you have? " I said, "I guess none". He partially chuckles, then says, "Okay, good". I said, "We really didn't start off on the right foot, so I don't feel comfortable addressing any of the questions I have". He says, "What do you mean? " I explained the whole reason I put the information in writing is because I didn't want to talk about it more about it. So no, I do not have any further questions. He said he's sorry I feel this way. He the looks back at his computer and had this big pompous smile come across his face while he's typing stuff in. I asked him what part of all this was funny to him. I shut down after that "this is all funny" to him grin he gave after telling him I'm uncomfortable talking to him about my medical issues. They say on their site, "Our doctors and providers know that the last place that most people want to be is a doctor’s office. However, if you’re envisioning dealing with stuffy doctors and cold hands on sensitive areas, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by your visit to NAU Urology Specialists. " This message was clearly not received by the PA I dealt with. I asked for a refund for my co-pay and was denied. Needlesstosay, I won't be going back.

The Round Rock location is great! Customer service is awesome. Everyone is friendly. The office is nice and a clean environment!

Dr. Julie Craig is incredible. Her bedside manner is excellent. She is easy to talk to and does what she can to set your mind at ease. If you are having urinary issues you owe it to yourself to make an appointment to start getting it resolved! 5 of 5 stars!

I've seen Dr. Jacomides twice thus far in 2023. He was recommended by my PCP, Dr. Kian Leong, to evaluate problems I am having with urinary urgency, frequency and flow. I also thought I might be having problems with my prostate. During the 1st visit, he determined that my prostate was fine & UT issues were believed to be caused by a nerve impingement in my lower back from
spinal stenosis & osteoarthritis. This was confirmed by my spinal surgeon and it is believed that the problem will be resolved once the surgery has been completed. Surgery is necessary to remove the pressure from the nerve and restore normal UT functions and stabilize the lower spine, etc.

I am also being treated for low testosterone and I'm very pleased with how the doctor and his staff have been prompt providing scripts and communicating with my pharmacy.

Overall my experience with NAU Urology has been very positive and I highly recommend them.

I was greeted by a really friendly lady today when I walked in. I sat down in the waiting room for only, maybe 3 minutes, and my name was called! I love that! This was my first time to see Dr. Jacomides. He was well liked by everyone in the office, because I asked! Lol. When he came in, he was warm and very friendly, and immediately funny, and set me completely at ease. He and I had a great time talking! He asks great questions and he listens to the answers. By the time I left his office, I felt extremely comfortable with him and our laid out future medical plan for me. He’s great! I highly recommend him! He will eventually perform surgery on me and I am comfortable with that, and that says a great deal!

I have been a patient at Dr. Mystery's practice with all of his staff for over 20 years. Still the best in town. I love them all.
