Clothing Store Nautica reviews
8 Incredibly rude and bad service. Should Nautica customers get treated like this? I went to the shop on 27 Dec approx. 3-4 pm with my family. We saw one man sat on what we thought was a bench behind the product display. It was empty, and no notes or products were on it to make someone realize it'snot a bench. After he left, I let my grandmother sit there, as she is over 90, to wait for other family members to shop. It was too cold for her to wait outside.
There was one female staff who was folding the clothing next to us. She saw us. She didn't say anything the whole time so we thought it was ok for my grandma to sit for a while. After shopping for a while, I went to sit with my grandma to ask her idea to get an extra jacket. Other family were also choosing some shirts behind that bench, too. While we were talking and waiting for others to shop, another staff (a tall woman who was working at the cashier) walked up to us and said "YOU GUYS STAND UP" with this extremely cold and rude voice. NO "PLEASE" or any polite words to ask for cooperation. She said it like she was a military instructor in a boot camp, like a command. Yes, we left that bench. We also bought your product.
However, I felt so shocked about her wretched behavior. This is totally inappropriate and shows serious lack of manners towards customers. I would understand if she asked us politely to leave the bench. Is this really the way Nautica treats their customers?
Nautica has been my favorite place for shirts, windbreakers and jackets and lots more, ever since I can remember. Good quality, perfect cut, variety of colors, dress and casual.
Wish they were everywhere, I have to visit larger cities with outlet malls to find them. Or online, but I haven't had good outcome with this service, so I shop in store.
Very bad customer service, they ask for the tags for return and when you get the tag, they ask for the receipt, this is very difficult shopping experience. Diego needs training as the manager, poor customer service!
My son found was slim fit polos he liked and got 3, just need more size selection bc most of the colors he wanted they were out of but other than that it was good.
This year I decided to buy my family jackets for Christmas, something useful of course. I went to the outlets in Allen (WORST MISTAKE). My go-to was Nautica, Worst mistake ever. Everything was fine until after I paid. I spent almost $2,300. And they would NOT give me Nautica bags; instead they put them in TRASH BAGS. Unfortunately that is not the worst part. I asked to talk to the manager, i believe her name is Leigh and she said “well, we can’t give you bags for free” as if I was asking for something free. Then she “solved the problem” by THROWING 3 little bags at me. THROWING”. After spending all that money? I was just so upset, i didn’t want to make this a bigger issue. Not sure if she wasn’t having a good day, but that didn’t have to reflect on customers.
I uploaded PART of my receipt and the trash bags she gave me.
And my visit was on 10/23/21 @ 1: 19 pm…
A easy in and out store. Greeted when walked in. Let alone while shopping, but someone is always around if you need help.
Check out is fast even if there is a line.
Customer service store (Allen, Tx)
It is unfortunate I have to give one star because they make excellent men's polos (100% soft cotton). Due to Covid restriction, store mandates maximum of 8 customers inside (perfectly understandable). Being first person in the queue outside the store, I suggested to the clerk that she can quickly return the item, I don't have to step inside and I can be on my way. The clerk denied any service citing covid restictions, I mentioned again that I understood the policy and I don't have to come inside the store. Then I agreed to wait 10-15 minutes until 8th person left. After I entered the store, the store manager immeditely started giving me hard time and accused me of trying to bypass Covid restriction, following which I left. Covid or no Covid, they have one less customer.
