Went to Navy Federal Credit Union to open new accounts a couple days ago. The staff are well trained, very polite and respectful. I am very impressed and felt so welcome. Thank you

This was an extremely stressful situation - Ms. Phyllis Leal (Westover Hills location) was so helpful and really went the extra mile to help me out.

My initial impression, especially due to difficulty accessing help by phone, was negative, but I've had many, overall, good experiences since. The tellers are a bit slow, [seems like lots of computer entries per client are required], but many have been helpful, courteous, and professional, Ms. Buenos Aires (sp?) being among the best!

One financial advisor working. We brought in our 85-year old family member and it was an awful experience. There did not even appear to be a Branch Manager or someone who could come help provide additional support with the volume of people waiting. She sat there in pain for two hours waiting for checks to pay her rent. Navy Federal Credit Union, hire more people! I've never seen such terrible service and never expected this from you! Very disappointed.

I had been a customer to this branch for years and the customer service is great, no complaints- but this week they went above and beyond in customer service!
Mr. Nathon and Ms. Vannesa went above and beyond. He engaged a nice conversation, he is a new hire. Oh boy thanks for helping me! Both were respectful, cordial, customer service driven and helped me to print a paper work bank related for my mom that I need it, they save me time, money and the impact of that paper work have will help my mom to get her things situated. I really appreciate you both of you, other branches should follow their example!

After personally witnessing how one of their members was mistreated and denied access to his own account and money I would never even consider having anything to do with this credit union.

Starting to search for another bank. The drive thru teller called me and accused me of stealing the teller canister from the drive thru after picking up a cashiers check. She called me while I WAS SITTING IN THE LOBBY OF THE BANK.
When I got my what I needed from inside. The man who gave me my card was laughing, like it was amusing to him they thought that I stole it.
I had my sister check the drive thru to see if it fell from me putting it back and it wasn't on the floor. They replaced it with a new one, but way to go on accusing a customer of being a thief. I have never been so upset with a banking institution, I better not have a charge on my account for something I didn't take.

NFCU is an awesome financial institution. I've never had an issue. Utilizing the phone app makes things so much easier. Banking is all in the palm of your hands. I have 3 vehicles financed thru NFCU. My wife and I decide on a particular vehicle, All it takes is a simple phone call from my cell and BAM! Approved with in 5 - 10 minutes, no exaggeration. The first time I called to inquire about applying for a vehicle loan.thats all I was doing, inquiring.after my name and social I had a YOU'RE APPROVED". All while the dealership salesman was in the finance office. It literally took me no more than 10 minutes. 30 minutes later the salesman comes out and says, we're still working on getting a response. I advised the salesman no need to worry my bank has already sent/faxed a letter of approval and it should be in the finance office. He too was surprised. Easy as 1-2-3.
Love it!
I've done the same with 2 other vehicles. Every agent I've dealt with has been super professional and super helpful, always willing to help in any way possible to meet your financial needs. Consider me a lifer.

I experienced ignorance at its best! Not just once but THREE times! Called Navy Federal phone support (bankers are not seeing any one due to CoVid) to see if they received a fax sent to them on a change of coverage for $500 Comprehensive (ded). All reps stated that it still showed $1000 even tho we had a copy straight from the insurance company! Dude, we had to literally explain and breakdown the document. It goes to show that this whole time calling back and forth with them and insurance, they were looking at our other vehicle with a $1000 coverage!? !? !? It specifies two vehicles but one is an auto loan? !? I spent a whole hour due to incompetence! It’s sad that military families have to deal with this on a daily basis! I would hate to found how my funds are being handled! Who hired these individuals? ‍️

They were a little quick but it was due to covid. At no point did I feel like I got to close to anyone or did I feel like I could be exposed to the virus. I was extremely impressed

The inability to deposit cash in the ATM on weekends is extremely inconvenient and behind the competition.

I drove 30 minutes to this place today to cash a check, only to find out they were closed. The website says they close on Saturdays at 1300; I got there at 1250 (look at your surveillance camera; I was wearing a red shirt, camo hat, and brown camo cargo shorts). Why close early?

The walk-up ATM at the front of the building is terrible. The keypad is completely exposed to the left and to the right. To the left are cars going through the drive thru and to the right is the glass entrance where someone can stand just inside the entrance with tinted windows and watch you complete your transaction. So basically, if the drive thru ATM is closed go to a different bank.
