Neal Haynes, MD reviews
2I had an accident and my C1 was crushed and my C2 broken. The doctor did a fusion from occipital to C3. He saved me from being paralyzed or dead. The problem is my head is crooked and I have huge problems swallowing. On my 1 follow up the doctor told me I would not get range of motion because of the surgery. He did not address the swallowing problems. When I went back he was no longer in his Kingwood office. This was a 911 situation and I am glad I got mended but I have had a chiropractor and another orthopedic tell me I can have the hardware removed. I feel Dr. Haynes fixed me and then dumped me. With help from my chiropractor I can turn my left almost to my shoulder and the right a little less. It still hurts on a low level and eating is a nightmare. If I had time for a choice it would not be this doctor.
Don't go to this Dr. He is no longer in this office and he left high and dry. Did surgery on my neck C3-C5. Hospital stay was supposed to be 2 days turned into 9 days. I had one follow up. Then he was gone. Now have to go through another Dr and explain it all over again. Have more pain now than I ever did before the surgery. I am not one for taking pain meds and new Dr thinks I am a hypercondreac. I just want relief.
Update. Had to have emergency surgery for C2 to T2. Neck broken above and below original surgery. So bad I was fixing to be in wheelchair or dead. Stay away from this Dr
