New Hope Church - 288 Campus, Manvel TX

Today was the first and last time at this church. The pastor was VERY offensive to the LGBTQ community calling them the alphabet community and he showed a video a transgender CHILD… and was making fun of the child and calling the child by the wrong pronoun. Disgusting turn of events.

This church serves a large community in the 288 corridor coming all the way up from Houston and down toward Freeport, covering Pearland, Manvel, Rosharon, Alvin, Iowa colony, and even out toward Sienna. Consistent services and great volunteers. Appreciate the student program for the little ones to learn from the word.

New Hope is a wonderful Bible church focused on growing your personal relationship with Jesus and making Him known to others. I have been attending for 10+ years, and Pastor Tim is an amazing speaker/teacher of scripture and biblical truths.

Coolest church I've ever been a part of! Great people, wonderful staff leaders, and Pastor Tim is the bomb! His message comes right from the Bible, no suger coating.we love every aspect of our church family

Pastor Tim Liston is a great pastor. He has the gift of delivering God's message without making one feel guilty and undeserving based on their lifestyle. I mostly appreciate that he doesn't give the "holier than though" vibe.

We've been going for years to this church and it's been a beautiful experience every time. Thank you father for placing new hope in our lives.

What a wonderful place. Everyone just come on over just 1 time and try it out. Loving people

We travel each week 30 min to come to New Hope. The music uplifts me every week and Pastor Tim always brings the word from a way that everyone can understand. I love that the Bible is taught here.

I am a new member. I attend on Thursdays as it meets the needs of my schedule. Pastor Tim Is knowledgeable, humorous, and down to earth. Everyone in the congregation is very friendly. While I do not particularly like the loud music at the start. I’m finding that I can simply come in at 7: 15 and it’s a welcoming atmosphere. However, if I want the gift of pizza, sodas and coffee, I will need to get there earlier.) The sermons are useful in my daily life, relevant to current issues and help me in areas that need the fulfillment of the spirit. I am actually compelled to volunteer in an area where I will be beneficial. I’m waiting for a call back, as I text this review, to begin my calling. Patience is an area I need help in. I’m just overly excited to begin my position.)
I highly recommend New Hope Church. I wish the sermons were longer, because I like listening to the pastor. I see so many people, around the globe coming to God. It’s beautiful. The Bible says toward ‘end times’, believers, in our Heavenly Father, eyes will be opened, while nonbelievers are blind and struggle, left behind to a terrible world.
I am so thankful to Pastor Tim and the ministry of New Hope Church.

This morning I made a amazon delivery for one of the ladies in the office. She wasn't there but I left a message with the package and hours later someone from the church contacted me.
This phone call meant so much to me. As people from my own life don't even reach out to me when they clearly see i need them, Total strangers acknowledge my kindness and my love for others and for the lord and I so appreciate that. Kind lady who called me today from this church today, you made my day. I just wanted you to know.

You know there are people who need help sometimes. We called to get someone help and they said she had to call. It was hard for her to call she has four kids the smallest is 11 months old. She works hard and dose it all on her own. They can make there rent this month and the church would not help and she gos to your church yes she can't make it every Sunday has no gad to get there sometimes and her kids get sick so she can't get there and can't make the whole tie so she missed and no full tie so church can't help. I no God says to help others and we go to the church aswell but didn't think the church would not help at all.when we ask her if the church would help she said no she didn't make the church rules well she will still come to your church she love God and he will see a way for her so they are not on the street I no God would not want that.next time someone needs help and people ate worryed to get some help for God childern we know this church has rules and you have to be every Sunday for 6month. Or give your whole check to get help that is not the God I know so please tell people that you can't help we no there is rules but people are hurting and worryed and you didn't make it better at all
