We recently had a death in the family and i called new life church to see if they had a small room our family could use to meet, ten people at most, to visit and bring sandwiches. I told them I go to a small church an hour away and have family in Austin who are in frail health who could not make the drive to my church. They refused to share a room with my family at our time of grief. She told me they only would help if i were a member. I told them that is the role of the church, to minister to the lost and broken hearted. It was like talking to a wall. Shame on you new life. Does Pastor Shaw or Bro. Bernard know you treat people this way or i guess they made this policy. When i told her my kids have been members of new life for years she quickly said they would review my request but no thanks new life. I will not visit your church again.

I have attended New Life Austin since the beginning of 2023. It is now July. My time here has been transformational. I enjoy the entire experience I have of being in God's presence with fellow believers from the time I step out of my vehicle onto the grounds until the time I leave. As a single mom of two teens, having a place of worship we all enjoy going to has been a tremendous blessing. If you want to know what Heaven looks like, step into NLA! Not only is it a beautiful place, I love the diversity. This ministry provides everything one needs to reclaim their life in Christ, grow both professional and personal, and serve in the area God has called them to. Come visit when you are in Austin on Wednesday night or Sunday. If you comment on this review ahead of time, I'll save you a seat.
