New World Apartments, Dallas TX

Hello, I don't recommend it, it's of no use, everything is old and the office lady is rude. We left because every month they charged us extra money and now that we left, they wanted to charge us for the garbage, water and electricity, 1300 dollars and when I was going To report something broken, the lady says that the owners are very mice and did not want to buy anything to fix what is broken, everything there is very bad. I only tell the owners to be careful because the lady charges too much.

I have been living in this apartment more than 10 years. As a person with experience, I do not recommend this apartment. WHY? The apartment is very old and they never remodel nor fix it. They cover up the old wall with new paints and that includes everything inside the house. Such as the kitchen and bathroom countertops and the kitchen cabinets. There will ALWAYS be cockroaches no matter how many time you clean the house. I do not know how the apartment passed the state inspection because there is a lot need to be fix. Most importantly, the apartment is NOT SAFE. Cars will be broken into or stolen. The apartment is not secure with gates nor cameras, if you ask for help it will be useless. The price for the apartment is not worth living.

Ma'am Alma was doing great job but this new lady will empty all the apartments. She is so rude donest have good customer service because of her we left within one months. Good luck.
First of all we did nothing and you can only blame us and hitting our credit. You made huge bill. I think you hit the truck. The way you are talking. There are so many families moved the same day ask them better. I hope you got it.

Oh hello we didn't hit any tuck.ask others to whom you let them leave the apartments. There are so many family left the apt because of your this type of attitude. Same day moved tons family please go and ask. Stop blaming us and manage your job. Work is work whatever we do. You don't have to know whether we are doing limo or what. We paid and you didn't paid our rent. Hope you got it.

Maybe it’s the neighbors or maybe it’s the apartments we will never know but mine is covered in roaches. For the past 2 weeks we’ve killed bugs every day! We’ve used roach bombs, we’ve bleached and sprayed every home remedy known to man and NOTHING works. I am hoping that next year the housing market is better so I can take my family and leave. Brown stains covering the ceiling because there’s always a leak from upstairs and management sucks! What is the point in putting in a work order if they aren’t going to come work? These people don’t even deserve a 30 day notice! They need to tear the apartments down and start over. If you’re thinking about moving here please be aware of what’s coming with it! Just because it’s cheap don’t mean it’s live-able. Please be ready to deal with constant leaks, stomping above your head from upstairs, roaches, homeless people, car break in, stray cats, possums and worst of them all, rats.

I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years dealing with the LOUDEST neighbors ever! My ceiling is covered in brown water stains from all the leaks from the roof. RATS I have to keep rat poison and traps out constantly!
Now we got this new leasing manager. Wendy. I came home to find a card on my key hook stating they were in my apartment WITHOUT any notice at all to verify who lives in my apartment. They even went thru my bedrooms while nobody was home! I've NEVER in my lifetime had this happen ANYWHERE I've lived. They are treating me like I live in HUD housing! Wendy is also very rude and confrontational! Thankfully my lease is up in September. Goodluck keeping valuable tenants around here!

Everything is Fine is just the fact that the lady is charging more then what we have to pay. I payed my rent fully and gave her the check and she still said I own 495$ when I put the exact amount she said Over the phone and yesterday she charged me another 175$ when I proved myself I already payed.

Be sure to double check how much you REALLY OWE or they will just tell you some made up number. They are horrible with money and will make up charges for you to pay. Our water bill had not arrived so we called and asked for the price. Once we paid the next day on the 4th we received our water bill and it was cheaper than what they told us! When I told the lady in the office she tried to argue me down that we were supposed to pay a different price, I had to go up there with proof to prove that I was right. Did I get my money back? No but I got credit and not even an apology. Worst apartments ever. Alma wasn’t that good of a manager but at least she was NEVER bad with money. I can’t tell you how many times we had to call over money and they tell us a different rent amount every time. We’ve had to correct them so many times it’s ridiculous.

It's a terrible place. I don't recommend it. I haven't even been there for a year and I've been punctual in paying my rent and they make up every single thing that I owe this that I owe the other. It's just money that they want to take everything because the lady in the office doesn't know math. He says one thing and comes up with another and doesn't accept his mistakes. It's pure nonsense from people who like to steal for everything. They even want to charge for the mistakes of people in the office who don't know how to do their job well. Terrible place. 100% disqualified.to live here

Neighbors are so loud it’s causing the windows to shake and vibrate. They stomp and run so hard my pictures are starting to fall off the wall in the living room. No consideration for their down stairs neighbors at all. Usually I would just ignore it but when my stuff starts coming up broke it’s a different story. Every time they have plumbing problems upstairs it messes with ours downstairs and it doesn’t seem like they are reporting it. I can’t tell you how many times we had to call the office regarding leaks and cracks in the wall. Whatever leak they had upstairs seeped through and turned our ceiling in the living room a yellowish brown color, it’s disgusting. The leaks have caused non stop gnats and my legs are covered in bites. No matter how much bleach and cleaning we do they just don’t seem to all go away. I’ve been so patient but I am tired. I can not wait to finally be able to move out of these apartments.
