I went there and customer service was great, i got amazing deals and had a blast 10/10 would recommend for anyone who is wanting to get into collecting sports memorabilia or if you have been a collector for a long time.there prices are great and mike is hilarious, by far best sports card store i've went to.

Extremely disappointed buying multiple random auto packs and graded packs for $24 and they have nothing worth a dime in them. They put a sage auto and a sage pack in one for $24. You can buy an entire sage draft picks box for $27. Be cautious and spend your money wisely you’d be better off going to eBay!

Other card shops don't compare to this shop. Everytime I go to this store I walk with a purchase.

Showed up at 11: 15 to check out some baseball cards. Store supposedly opens at 11 according to Google, Facebook, and their website, but the place was closed. Called their number but it went to voicemail. Sat in my car for 45 minutes since I’d driven half an hour to get here and am only in town for a couple days. After nobody showed up by a few minutes after noon, I took off. Last came here in 2010 as a kid before moving away. I’d get so excited for those outings. It was a great store then - sad to see it’s fallen so far.

We were recommended to Nick’s by a friend to sell a few vintage baseball cards. Mike gave us a fair price and was a wealth of information. My kids have had a blast and felt very special and included during our visits. We’ll be back. Thanks for making card collecting fun again.

Nick's used to be the place to go to now its a dump. I went to the store yesterday and the place looks horrible. Does not feel like a card shop more like a pawn shop. It's sad that one of my most favorite places is now a dump. I called many times to know what's going on with the store but no answer.

Unreliable “business”. Never opens on time. Check previous reviews of this “business”. Almost an hour past as I have watched lots of hobbyists walk up, pull on the door and immediately frown. That’s the true disappointment they are giving. Well There goes my lunch break. Don’t bother planning to come by as you never know if they are open.

Mike tricked me pretty hard into paying $55 for a $30 ETB by tempting me with grading opportunities and promotional bonuses "itll be $27 next week but today. ".

Was hoping to start a relationship with a local dealer so I took the gamble. My extra 25 got me 2 pencils, a bookmark, a magnet and a promo card I already own 20 of. Rough experience unfortunately. I thought he was being coy because I was new but no it was the look of a man who found a mark.

We partied like rock stars yesterday. Mike was breaking with us / for us - cranking the music for $100 spins and we walked away with awesome stuff and a fun way to spend a day.

This card shop is like an old barber shop in the Bronx. You need to lighten up and learn how to have fun. Then it will immediately become your favorite.

First time potential customer.store opens at 11am. I showed up at 10: 55 and waited til nearly 11: 30am and nobody ever showed up. At least 5 other customers were waiting as well. I messaged them on Facebook and an automated message told me to call the store during business hours. I tried calling and it just goes to voicemail, and the voicemail is full so you can't even leave a message. You have a handful of people literally sitting here waiting to give you money and you can't be bothered to show up and open on time. Wasted time and gas coming over here for nothing. I won't be back, and I was ready to spend $5K+

Stopped in because they won't answer the phone. They refused to even look at what I had with me to see if it was something they would want to buy. Had 4 people working and they were complaining about doing the job there. No idea why people would work in a sports and collectible shop and be rude and angry about it.

Overall, pretty good experience the manager Mike who has bought a handful of vintage rookie cards offered me a fair price for the value of my collection, however he could lighten up a little bit and engage in small talk conversation! I understand your job is to run a memorabilia shop but connecting with clients is also a fundamental value of business! Great place and professionalism could improve

Love this store and their inventory. The guy who I've always seen working there is also very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it's been so difficult to sell them my valuable items. Other than that I highly recommend yall check this place out.

Used to be a cool spot to hang out and have a conversation about cards. Came in today and wanted to get some info on a card and talk about a Bowman 2021 variation. As I start to ask about the variations to see which is a more sought after card and compare it to the 2020 set, I get a response from the guy behind the counter, “I don’t open cards, we just sell product. ”

Whether he was having a bad day or not, I felt unwelcomed here for the first time. Went straight to Triple Cards & Collectibles in Plano and had a great experience.

Needless to say, I will not be coming back to Nick’s. The Hobby is much more than “I don’t open cards, I just sell product. ”

Ha.

They have alot of stuff but over priced and not friendly or helpful. I was told by buddy to check them out but I will just stay spending my $ at SMP in Grapevine where Sean and his folks cut deals and are friendly and helpful. I told my buddy thanks for wasting my time and gas, won't ever be back
