Nico's Gourmet Burgers reviews
15Sorry to post this. I was hoping for awesome. I am not going to humiliate anyone by ripping the food apart but how this place is in business escapes me. If you’re looking for good food keep going.
Like always I'm a little extra and order food not on the menu. I was accommodated, double burger with cheddar cheese and grilled jalapeñpos. It was amazing. The fries were delicious. The aioli was a little too much for my taste. I should had ordered it on the side, oh well that's on me. I'll definitely be back.
Very delicious food. Fresh. Service was prompt and friendly.
Bathrooms nice & clean!
Burgers were fresh and good sized. Fries and onion rings portions were generous as well. Food tasted great, I will definitely go back!
After tonight - I’d give zero stars if I could.
I drive from 45 minutes away to eat here & Valeria (adjoining restaurant) with my child & sometimes other family members on special occasions. I called ahead to check the closing time and made it 30 minutes before closing (7: 30) to find the door locked. No sign or any notice. We went next door to the sister restaurant Valeria to inquire and I was unapologetically told by an extremely overwhelmed and inconsiderate manager (Laura I think was her name?) that they closed early, that was that and there was nothing she could do because they were prioritizing the other restaurant and the patrons there. We have gone to both of their restaurants for years because of the integrity of ingredients used and many years ago the staff was awesome. It’s sad to see that staff like this current female manager is representing a place we treasured. I stood there - a sole parent with a young, hungry child in tow being turned away, zero offerings, zero accommodation and honestly serious attitude. I was dumbfounded and shocked and would’ve never expected this from a family establishment I felt I knew well. Upon leaving - trying to figure out where we would go for food - I called the restaurant to speak to someone who may hopefully care about what just happened to us and the same woman answered, raised her voice at me, told me I was the rude one because I asked her if they closed at 7: 30 instead of 8 and well she just added insult to injury. My child even cried listening to someone talk this way to his mother. It was shocking! I’ve never been treated so incredibly thoughtless by someone in the service industry. I can’t believe the owner/chef would endorse this behavior and have an employee who could possibly treat his patrons like this. It would take a huge effort to convince me to return to these restaurants we have frequented for years after this experience - I just couldn’t support a place where it is ok to treat others this way. It’s not ok and I feel I have to demonstrate this with not giving them my business anymore. To me - especially in a small business- how you treat your patrons is everything. This isn’t how it’s being done here anymore. Very sad and disappointing and ruined our night. I’ve never left a review with this level of honesty in my life but it was so bad - I felt it was imperative to share.
Was hopeful, ended up regretful. Very expensive, very bad quality food prepared by someone in the back that doesn’t know how to cook. Taste awful, bitter and extremely greasy. My wife and I each had a burger less than thirty minutes ago, now we both feel sick to our stomachs from it. We ended up throwing about half of each of our burgers in the trash along with the inedible onion rings. The fries were okay. Weird environment/decor inside. Won’t come back.
My wife loved it. I would have given 4 stars but after trying her burger, it’s defn worth 5.
Onion rings were amazing as well
I ate here a while back and I can say with confidence it was the best burger I’ve had in Boerne. The price for the food is definitely higher than most places but the food is exceptional! Expect to pay more for a higher quality experience.
Really nice burger joint with the normal classics you'd expect and a few fun unique burgers. I tried the Oklahoma burger and had a great flavor plus was a great size to make it a good meal but not feel overstuffed when you're done!

This is a neat little burger place. They serve burgers, fries, and some other items as well. The burgers were good, but honestly nothing all that special (although I'm not a huge burger fan).
The burgers were high quality, good toppings, and somewhat unique. The fries were above average. The location is convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would go again.
Wife - split burger with onions inside, she rated it very good. Me - I'm a hot dog person and the krautdog was plenty of food for an older person and also very good. We each had an order of onion rings which were real onions served piping hot fresh out of the fryer. No fountain drinks and limited selection from the cooler. The sugar free clear cola substitute was kinda sorta like Zima, but sweeter. I didn't miss having my usual Coke bc the Mexican Cola was a more than adequate replacement. It has a slight hint of ginger.
This place is amazing, I can’t believe I hadn’t been here before. Burgers are truly gourmet and are delicious, the manager Steven was so nice. My entire family was satisfied. We will be back.
Best Burgers in town. Everything was amazing. Steven was very knowledgeable and explained everything about their restaurant. Told us where everything comes from down to all the ingredients they use. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you guys!
The Burger was amazing. The flavor was great and everything was cooked amazing. This is also the first restaurant to get my order correct on the first time trying out a new restaurant. You have a little wait, but it was worth it. I will be getting my burgers from there often.
Burgers were delicious, cooked perfectly. Get the garlic mayo it’s meat is grass fed beef.if you like thick fries this is your place!
