Niko Niko's reviews
17Food is great, every time we eat here. The restaurant is always clean and staff is always in a good mood. Can imagine a negative thing to say about this place other than I had to relocate and I'm gonna miss it so much!
I had not been back to Niko Niko's for over 1.5 years because of the pandemic. And with just one visit I am hooked again. Delicious!
Soo delicious! I had a Gyro, a side of wonderful potatoes, Dolmathes (?) I used to call them Dolmados. They are 3x larger than my mom in law used to make them and almost as delicious. God, rest her soul. Niko Nikos is the best I've had since my mom in law's cooking. Soooooo good! I didn't save room for dessert, but I stuffed that in too. So glad I did. I had Gelato. Every flavor is amazing, but the pomegranate, the limoncello, & the white chocolate pistachio are the ones that I debated. You've got to try Niko Nikos. Gracie was great! She was being trained by Eric. Quick learner & an effective people person. She answered questions, gave suggestions, & remembered little details. Very pleased. Mmmm. Though I recommend try everything, I don't recommend all at once. The dolmathes are a meal in themselves. Just saying. Enjoy!
Kind of expensive, they also sprinkle a little bit of some kind of seasoning salt over the yellow rice that when you taste it is of course salty and extra touch they could do without. Greek salad and hummus was great!
Food was very tasty and staff were very friendly. Was a little pricey, in my opinion, but overall a pleasant experience.
Ordered the special since I'm not familiar with the menu. So dry it was hard to swallow. Spoke to the guy taking orders and he told me to go talk to the manager and pointed me in a different direction. No I won't go chase down an employee. So $130 ticket and I ate my kids leftover french fries.
Good Greek restaurant. No table service so you order at the counter. Not inexpensive but very generous portions. Not my favorite Greek restaurant in Houston but probably the best chain.
Stopped by to order to go for the family. They gave the order in a knotted plastic bag so i couldn’t check that everything was there without tearing the bag…. Anyways they forgot a large greek salad. Which was the only thing that was for me in the bag! So frustrating. Love the food but please double check to go orders before you tie up the bags please.
Niko Niko's is a Houston Institution and a local attraction. It represents the best of Greek American Culture and a beacon of Houston Best Foods.love Niko Niko's Greek American Restaurants
I love the salads and gyros here they’re great. The reason for the 2 stars is that every time I get a pastry for dessert it always tastes like it’s stale like its been sitting around for days. Its strange because those pastries look so pretty and delicious in that glass enclosed fridge. It’s happened more than once to me and I’ve never written a review about it but last night’s brownie I bought had to be the worst of all the desserts I’ve ever tried here. It was hard in texture and it tasted old. After 2 bites I had to throw it away and it sucks because I paid about $5 for it. This is a huge bummer because I love sweets I almost always go for dessert after having a meal here and I feel like the bakery at Niko Nikos always lets me down.
Amazing as always. Got a mini Gyro and fantastic Fries. The Gelato strawberry was to good for word and next stop there will be for one of there beautiful cakes.
Ordering and picking up curbside is so easy. The food is always delicious. My new fav place order when I'm at work for lunch.
Delicious cookies! Raspberry jam sandwiched between 2 buttery cookies dipped in chocolate and rolled in sprinkles! Ohhhh myyyy!
Food never disappoints and great customer service. We stayed super late and they were so gracious with us. Definitely a repeat customer.
I love Greek food and their food is very good. However, I had a Euro, Greek Potatoes and a drink, all ordered for lunch at the counter. The cost, $17.00! Yikes, just way overpriced in my book.
If I could give 10 stars I would. All employees were great! Respectful and helpful gentlemen. We were helped mostly by David and he was awesome to us.thank you David for making a great experience for us. 3/16/21
If you know the owner you completely understand why the food is fresh, abundant and unquestionably Greek done right. Don't expect a bargain but do expect excellence.
