Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant reviews
14Really good food, nice service, way too large servings (an American thing), very good gluten free options. Margaritas very good. As normal in texas no gf beer.
Wait timea for everything was long.not enough wait staff. Food was ok, but they forgot to add the jalapenos. The chimichanga was more like an empanada.not great.
A beautiful restaurant with great food. Service was extremely quick and the waitress was polite and knowledgeable about the area and restaurant. Came here with my mother-in-law during Waco’s Ironman 70.3.
My wife and daughter liked the food but I had a fajita and it wasn't any good. The waitress was amazing and the margaritas were on point
Not what I was expecting, first of all our waiter pointed to an empty MacDonald box where my niece was carrying her toys and asked us to get rid of it, my son ordered the fajita combo, rice was hard, 5 small pieces of fajita doesn't make a fajita plate, I ordered the Xóchitl soup, for 12 dollar soup I was expecting a better flavor, we order total of 4 dishes and paid over a 100 bucks. The lady who was passing the salsa and chips was the only person who make us feel welcomed. Hope they improve their service.
The staff members we encountered during our visit were rude and unwelcoming. The Sangria was great and the platter we ordered for two was mediocre at best. I won't be recommending Ninfa's to family or friends.
The food is really good. We ordered a combo deep fried shrimp with sauce and melted cheese and carnitas. Portions are large and tasty. If it weren't for poor service I would give it 5 stars.
Great fajitas and good service. The salsa is always the tell at Mexican Restaurants, and they give you two. Both are good, the red sauce is warm and nicely spiced. Nice atmosphere too!
The waitress was rude and had no desire to wait on us. The food was cold and the order was wrong.
Best tortilla we've ever had, anywhere.
The restaurants in a cool warehouse building near downtown Waco.
This is our new number one
Wait time was reasonable. We were told 40 minutes but it took less than 15. Save your money and don't get the queso.it's just grease, canned nacho cheese and canned chili. The crawfish enchiladas were amazing. The shrimp tacos weren't as good as torchys but had a good flavor. The rice was way to dry and the brisket enchiladas had very little meat. The watermelon margaritas were eh. Service was good considering they were busy as heck. Good food, but not worth the average $18 a plate.
Ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla for takeout. Turns out they don't know what a fajita is and I opened my order to see a onion/pepper free pile of tortillas and cheese. Pretty disappointing for $17. To top it off there was an extra $10 charge for takeout.
LOVE THEIR FOOD! We ALWAYS ate at our local Ninfa’s in Houston on 1-45 and even though we’ve moved to the Hill Country, we drive the 45 minutes up to Waco just to eat here!
Our favorite place to eat! Thank you for great food and customer service.
Visiting Waco and had lunch. Very happy.
