During the months of July & August, the second floor of Nitya Tower experienced excessive noise that disrupted the operation of my and other’s businesses.

I’ll just speak for myself now. I am a Licensed Psychologist in private practice. A specialty of mine is trauma work, along with associated anxiety conditions. The therapeutic value of my patients’s sessions was lost due to the loud drilling, hammering, music, shouting, and sawing that was occurring down the hall.

Loud, unexpected, and jarring noises like this are known to trigger acute and destabilizing mental health episodes. And it did cause emotional harm on several days. This was during the morning and afternoon. I had to cancel sessions; end them abruptly; or drive home to work remotely when that was not the agreed upon plan.

I asked for help from upper management multiple times and the response just wasn’t adequate or professional. The workers would be scolded, the noise would quiet down some, and then be back at the same level that day or the next. Upper management did not come up with a better solution.

I also lost income that impacted my household in a very significant way. I asked for financial compensation and upper management gave me a small credit that was far less than what I lost. I asked to speak with them at last twice, no response. The noise also continued after this and my last 3 emails have not been returned by the manager on site, with whom I have a positive relationship.

I am trying to get someone's attention about this because this is not okay. I have emails, videos, and statements to back up what I'm trying to say - which is the truth.
