No Frills Grill & Sports Bar - Mansfield reviews
16My husband LOVES this place. He probably steps in above twice a week. Good drinks good friendly service!
The wait staff was a little slow, any the food was not that great. The last time I ate here, it was pretty good. Just don't get their beef tacos. They are not good at all. I was actually sick at my stomach.
Went here to watch the Steelers Ravens game and was pleasantly surprised to find that even the audio was playing for the game. It was a good game and close, too, but with a minute left, they changed the channel! I asked an employee to change it back and they did right away. So no harm, no foul.
Good drink prices!
Good spot to watch sports and cheap drinks and food but they allow smoking inside which sucks but oh well
The barback was extremely rude and on a high horse! He couldn’t make up his mind saying “cash only” but just took my card for a different drink…. I was trying to get a pitcher for my group, and the bar gave us the hardest time. He didn’t seem like he wanted to be there or do his job that day, which made my friends and I feel incredibly unwelcome. I will be sure to let my friends In the area know to avoid this spot!
It's so smoky in there sometimes that us non smokers (the majority) don't even want to stay. But otherwise, great people, great staff, good food!
Good place to go n the afternoon. Good food and nice personnel. Good quality in the draft beers.
Decided to check out thus local spot and when we walked in the smell of smoke from the bar side was apparent. Not being a smoker I tried to power through it. Ultimately had to take meds due to it. Overall food was ok and server was awesome.
If you like cigarette smoke, and service slow as snail sex this is YOUR spot! We went in the restaurant side and waited about 2 min for someone to show up with no luck. So we went into the barside of the establishment where the only thing that greeted us was the smoke in the air. It took 10 min for someone to get with us and get our drinks ordered. The very stoic gentleman took our food order quick enough. Then we waited patiently for 30 minutes or more to get the food brought us. The nachos, and salad were good tho.
Spent many nights here eating, drinking, and having a great time. Good food, great atmosphere, loved hanging out here. Big Chad, Little Chad, Kevin, all great guys. Don’t even know if they are there anymore. It’s been many years, miss this place a lot. Live down in Bryan/College Station now but I will visit when I can.
It's a super quiet neighborhood bar. We stop in and play the Golden Tee golf game and get something to eat a couple of times a week.
The crawfish tacos are awesome.
Ordered catfish, but it didn't look nor taste like catfish, and it was fried hard as a brick. The salad was fresh and ok. This wasn't a good experience for us.
We order quite a bit. Keep in mind, this is bar food, but they have a great variety. This is a great place to eat for married couples who can't make up their mind.
One thing I appreciate, since we order carryout, I can't remember a time where they got the order wrong. This is huge. We do carry out orders from a variety of places, and I have to kick myself when I forget to check the bag before I leave. Not here though, they seemingly always get the order right 100%.
I don't see it listed below, but I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich. (specifically the San Antonio chicken sandwich). This is the best one around in my opinion.
FYI, the reason for a three on atmosphere is because of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, Mansfield doesn't have an ordinance. Of course, the atmosphere is a five if you're looking for a sports bar with a bunch of TVs, good food, and pool tables.
This place is so laid back! They have the bar separated from the restaurant yet connected by a hallway & door.
Food is decent portions & fair prices for sure! Staff is nice & friendly. They also have game tablets to challenge each other on the tvs they have at each booth.
Their wings are delicious! Both hine out or traditional- fried to perfection & the freshest salads & best ranch too!
Buffalo & Cajun lemon butter are my kid’s favorites flavors here for the wings
Great prices but always sub par service. I've probably visited over half a dozen times during the last 2 years. The service will always take forever at this location. You can be sat and wait 20+ minutes for just a draft beer.
Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Place was pretty busy. The young lady did her best but service was slow. Took a long time to get drinks then a long time for her Tom come back to take food orders we ordered our appetizer and our food at the same time. The appetizer never came. We asked for the missing appetizer when the rest of our order came but it still never arrived. Had to ask for soda refills and utensils. And had to ask to have the appetizer taken off the bill.
Again staff was nice but management isn't providing them the help they need. Probably won't go back.
