Nordstrom Rack Willowbrook Mall, Houston TX

The store itself is great, good selection of items and it’s different every time. However, the employees at this store need a lesson in customer service.

I found a Tory Burch bag that I wanted to buy, but it took ten minutes of standing by the locked bag and then asking for help from the five employees giggling and talking behind the counter for someone to actually help. The five of them look at each other as if they were trying to decide who would be punished into helping and then one comes to unlock it and asks if I’m ready for checkout. I say yes, & she rings up the bag and after I had already inserted my card she realizes she made a mistake (the employee discount was applied) & rips my card from the machine & mumbles some excuse about why that happened (while still holding my card) and then re-rings it up at full price, which is what I paid. I’m happy that I bought the bag, but the whole experience was just negative and really discourages me from returning.

This is the second bad experience I’ve had with employees at this store, they all act like you’re an inconvenience when you ask for help and only want to stand behind the counter talking to each other and ignoring their customers.

Nordstrom rack has been my place to go for many years for shoes and an occasional great find in ties, shirts, and luggages. Prices have always been better than the retail stores and stocked with great quality items.

I love this location! There’s a huge selection of shoes and clothing and the front staffers are wonderful. I wasn’t sure about a dress to wear for a business outing and the lady at the front with hair bun and glasses helped me out. She even went further and told me how she would style it. I was really pleased with my overall experience.

This location was unorganized and felt more like a Ross store with things on the floor. It was Dirty. Rude employees that were less than thrilled to give assistance to customer. I purchased coach shoes and the employee tried to give me the shoes without the box. I told her I wanted the shoe box and she lied and said that they don’t allow that. Her co-worker said that wasn’t true and gave me the box. The co-worker said that the girl likes to keep the boxes for herself and sell them online. I thought the entire experience was strange. I won’t return to this location.

Selection was a bit poorer than other locations I have been to, but it was very clean and well organized. Easily found the right sizes and the dressing rooms were not overloaded with leftover clothing.

It is a large store that has a lot of sections to it. It is located in the Willow Brook Mall. The prices are ok but it is not a bottom dollars deal places. They have name brands like the Born Shoes in the pic. Things get picked through so make sure to check nothing is ripped, scratched or otherwise

When I checked the gal was either in a bad mood or hates her job. Either way it was a terrible check out experience.

It's a nice change for me because there wasn't one in Corpus Christi, Tx, where I'm from. The Rack carries a nice original selection of upper scale shoes at a discounted price. Don't go in expecting too much of a deal though because the prices on the shoes are lowered competitively but slightly higher than regular store shoe prices. Truthfully, I've found better deal at Dillards during their shoe sales.

Just browsing around. There was a sale going on, so store was kind of messy, but it was already night time.

I rarely shop. Went to Nordstrom's initially. Shirts averaged $180 apiece. Went to the rack and they were around$70. Can't always find exact shirt at the rack, but when you do, what a savings.

I always find shoes at this location. Not as much in the clothing department. Nordstrom Rack is one of my go to for attire.

Yeah its a chain, but they have good service and deals. Super convenient location. They all pretty much have the same stuff at every rack, but have a spacious lot

My daughter needed some things. She always checks the clearance racks. There was a sweater she liked marked down. But still too much so she said. Mom went back and pick it up and surprised her later. What are daughters for if you can't still spoil and surprise them even as adults

Very nice selection, better quality clothing than a typical “outlet” type store. Fairly well organized, especially for mid-day on a weekend. Clean, well maintained fitting rooms. I found two very cute tops. The cashier that handled my transaction was rude and pushy. They had a promotion for a $60 gift card, if you open a Nordstrom credit card. I declined his offer, and he scoffed and basically implied I was stupid for not wanting a free gift card. When I also declined to give my email address with payment, he grew even more rude, saying it was mandatory- he continued going on and on for a bit about how I would not be able to make a return or exchange without giving it (neither of which are true). The deceit shopping experience was tarnished by the bizarre and uncomfortable check-out experience. Walked away scratching my head about this. Very strange.

You have to dig a little bit for it, but there are some sweet deals and a great selection of clothes regardless.

Good place to get reasonable price high end clothing brands, shoes and other stuff. Only problem is staff needs to be more friendly and welling to work. Not a single staff member was willing to help customer and if you ask them something response make you think why you even try. Mgmt needs to work on customer service and fast service

We found every thing we needed an even a couple extra thing the workers were polite and waved at us on our way out I will definitely keep coming here

Good place to shopping. They have food court in this area, close to Nordstrom Rack so that you can take a rest after shopping for hours. There are also lots of brands at the same area such as Zara, h&m, vans, Michael kors.etc.

Nice store but a bit messy and rarely do I want to shop there. I usually just shop home decor are and health & Beauty products. Cashiers friendly thou.

Nordstrom Rack is definitely top 5 at Willowbrook Mall. The selection and style is really well rounded for the price.
This particular store is always clean and the employees have always been very helpful.
