Diner Norma's Cafe reviews
24Our Family has been eating breakfast at Normas Restraunt for years now. Normas breakfast always taste hot, fresh and delicious. You will never be disappointed with Normas breakfast that’s for sure.
The cornbread was my favorite thing here. I wasn’t a fan of my food, neither was my friend. It looked great but didn’t really taste great. We got the number 5 and number 7. It’s a cute place as far as decorations and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated but I just wouldn’t come back. Server was friendly.
Love it! It was my first time going, they were busy and you couldn’t even tell because everything was going so quickly. The food was amazing but the service was even better.
Hello public it's me again.
My wife and I stopped in at Norma's today for lunch we got chicken and dressing mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli hot rolls and butter.
You just can't go wrong at this place good old-fashioned home cooked meals at a great price.
Very proud Dallas Texen
Excellent food. Generous portions. A bit noisy. Checkout not ideal and tight entry/exit. Might be better if servers handled taking payments, at least right now. Desserts look great, haven't tried them yet.
It is a great place delicious food! We love it, they serve breakfast all day. A lot of food for a good price, also the waitress was very helpful she has great customer service. For sure we will go back this weekend.
I think we started a new tradition this year. Fried mushrooms for Christmas Eve LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Normas anytime of the year.
This is one of the best feel good spots in Dallas! If you like home style cooking this will be your spot too. I have yet to find an item in the menu that I don't like? I have lived in the DFW are since 95' and have always managed to find my way to this restaurant every now and then. The good is always served quick and hot. You may experience a wait on certain days of the week or holidays but trust me it is well worth the wait!
Wonderful breakfast and excellent wait staff. Thanks you all of the wonderful people at Norma's!
I've been going here since I was a small child and the experience and delicious food has not changed. Typically this is a place one might go when seeking some awesome comfort food-Southern style (small-diner). They have amazing desserts, pies, cake, cobbler, etc. On Sundays, after a certain time, you can even score their pie at half price. Their burgers are good and they have a veggie plate with rotating items/specials of the moment. They also have a consistent "special of the day" menu. My husband is a big fan of Friday, as they have shrimp as one of the specials. What can I say. It's an institution as far as I'm concerned.
Amazing place to eat. The food is really good and not expensive at all. And Debby is the best waitress in all town. Sweet and nice.
The waitress Patricia was on point with service. Steak was cook just exactly as medium should be. Had the number one the cinnamon roll had to take it to go.
The biscuits fluffy and delicious. The wait staff prompt and observant of your refills. I had chicken fried steak and eggs over easy. Husband enjoyed fried pork chops and eggs.
This place is always busy around lunch, and the food is always good. Wait staff are a little unattentive, but tables turn over fast with the lunch crowd, and they are always busy.
If you are reading this review, I will make up your mind. This is your next meal. Best burgers, onion rings are the best I have ever had in my life. This is a must go!
We ate here last Saturday. Loved the food, the atmosphere, the menu choices, and our waitress. I would have given Norma's a 5 but one of the waitresses (won't mention her name) kept coughing in her hand and not sanitizing afterwards. Hope the owners do some handwashing education. Hand sanitizers on the counters would help a lot. I hope I can edit this review soon.
Love that place, when I was in Dallas, I was almost every morning in Norma’s cafe to having my breakfast, the staff are absolutely awesome!
After many years of never going to norma's
Thinking this place is always busy and to small
Man was I in for a shock. This place is large and the food and service is 5 star service.
Going back this weekend. Mmmmm
Always great home cooked meals and filling portions. Breakfast all day, spectacular biscuits and pancakes.
Great food, and great service. The chicken and waffles was so good. The chicken was hot and crispy and the waffle was soft in the middle and kinda if crispy around the edges just like I like.
