Very skilled and thorough team of professionals. I randomly chose this location due to proximity to my house and quickly realized how fortunate I was to have found them.

I went in on 05/05/25 (Friday) for a first time appointment due to substantial hearing loss and extreme vertigo.

First I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Amy Zahn (Au. D, CCC-A.) She was very polite and walked me patiently through the process. She got very detailed information on what is going on and how I feel/hear currently. The hearing test went very smoothly. She was lovely but there really wasn’t much to this part of the visit.

Physicians Assistant Laura Regan (PA-C), I loved her to pieces right away. She was very honest and sincere about wanting to get me better as soon as possible. She discussed with me the drawbacks of having had to wait 35ish days to get into a specialists office to address my hearing (and vertigo, but the hearing is a potential long term problem now.) Laura is hopeful about recovering at least a portion of my hearing and improving my overall quality of life. She told me what she believes the diagnosis could be, but the need to rule out a secondary more serious concern. She clearly outlined all the steps to move forward, which includes a MRI and a lot of steroids.

I am a type 2 diabetic she clearly told me she REALLY wanted to run the steroids by my endocrinologist as it raises blood sugar through the roof. I reassured her I have multiple medications to lower the blood sugar and I’m at a great A1C currently. She still told me to check in with them Monday and wrote down notes to tell them I will be taking (injections + oral steroids.) I know, at every step of the way, what is going on and what to expect. She even made it a point to prioritize which imaging center to go to because the possibility of a tumor and then real time importance of having a proper diagnosis. I can’t give her enough positive feedback. I feel like I’m in great hands with Laura.

Edit: I've been back twice since and I will be making a 3rd trip on Friday. I've been getting steroid injections into the the right ear, and I'm not gonna lie. It's not comfortable at all, its painful, depending on your pain tolerance. Mine is fairly high and I got the minimal tears on Monday. Tuesday hurt a bit more, but I think it's because the ear had little to no time to heal in the meantime. I'll be back on Friday for round 3. I honestly believe that the injections in addition to the oral prescription is the best way to go for my care and that PA Laura Regan really cares about my wellbeing. I think that if it gives me a fraction of a chance to hear normally, or closer than my severe damage, then it's worth the temporary pain.

I'll also be visiting the Hurst office on Monday to get a hearing aid for my right (problematic) ear.

Dr Scott obviously cares about his patients and takes time to listen and talk through procedures. He has treated both my young son and myself. His staff is also very polite and knowledgeable. The only downside is that his office is always brimming with people so there is usually a wait but it makes sense that he is in demand.

Dr Scott came in for 2 seconds really did NOT listen to me and told me nothing was wrong but I could go for some hearing testing…Like why dude if u said nothing was wrong. I went because my ear was aching and kept popping but oh wait he did give me a muscle relaxer prescription which I never got filled. Stay away please go somewhere else waste of my time and money!

I had called the ENT office to see if they took my insurance and the woman I had spinken with said yes but I needed to get a referral but she had made my appointment for July 7th so I thanked her and I had my primary Doctor send a referral all was good. But today June 27th Dr. William Scott office called me an told my that they would not see me because I'm under 65 and they had canceled my appointment been dealing with a clogged ear for over a month so I'm leaving this review because I don't feel I was done right.

Rachel fitted me for new ear molds and surpassed all expectations! Not only was she gentle and thorough in placing the tampons in my ears and injecting the silicone paste, she was the ultimate professional at all times, putting up with my corny jokes and conversation! Dr. Scott, give Rachel a raise! I'll vouch for her!

Laura Regan, the Otolaryngology Physician Assistant who examined me, is excellent. Her manner is friendly and supercompetent. She performed two scoping procedures with the ease of a highly experienced professional. Office staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend North Hills ENT.

I can't say enough about the staff and the treatment I received yesterday when I went in for a hearing evaluation and purchased hearing aids. Dr McGee devoted the better part of her afternoon to making sure my needs received proper and thorough attention, covering all the important details of my hearing test and answering all my questions, and explaining things in a way I could understand. My feeling, after having had several bad experiences with hearing aid providers in the past, was that FINALLY I have found a facility and medical staff who can attend to every aspect of my hearing care with every assurance that my past experiences won't be repeated. And the Opticon Opn2 aids I purchased and Dr. McGee set up have blown me away. I am hearing little details in my daily living that I havent' heard in years. Thank you to all the staff and in particular, Dr. McGee and I look forward to my follow up in two weeks.

Receptionist was extremely unpleasant. My first impression of this facility is that customer service and the patient's best interest are not among their top priority. Perhaps to change this, they may consider hiring a receptionist that does not act as though she detests human interaction.
