Northwest Bible Church reviews
9Often the DFW metroplex focuses on being "perfect" - the perfect man/woman, the perfect figure, the perfect parent and NO ONE can live up to that. There are many things I love about Northwest Bible church but perhaps I love our Messy Cross the most. I believe that the transparency and authenticity of Pastor Neil and the other ministers make Northwest a safe and welcoming place. Especially for all of us non-perfect people!
I’ve been attending Northwest Bible Church going on two years now and I can genuinely say that it’s been a life changing experience. The staff and volunteers treat everyone like family and the messages are always life giving. I’m truly thankful for this ministry!
Such welcoming and encouraging people! Displayed scripture and art that reflects Jesus as well as hosting Pine Cove camp was so cool!
Recently, while attending training in Dallas, TX, I want to attend a church. After researching the surrounding area, I decided to attend Northwest Bible Church. From the reviews, I thought it would be a welcoming church like the church that I attend in Denver, CO.
I was extremely disappointed that upon arriving and entering the church, nobody greeted me. As I sat in the pews before church, again nobody greeted me. As the pastor talk about visitors, he shared that the QR code card, in the back of the pews, could be used to share their church. As an older person, I felt that that took away the personal touch of welcoming visitors.
After the service, again nobody greeted me.
As I was leaving, I went to the visitor’s area, and again nobody greeted me. It was when I went up to a person and shared how I felt being an unwelcome visitor. He listen to my concern but I felt that I was being listened to.
It’s sad that in the day and age of modern technology, we have lost the ability to greet guests. Instead, your church uses QR codes to welcome guests. What's wrong with the picture?
I can picture Jesus coming into your church and, your church would have him scan the QR code to obtain information about your church - no personal interaction.
The pandemic has destroyed the art of communication.
Been attending for over 11 years and love so many things about this church. They love Jesus and teach the Word. They love on people well and have a ministry for people of all ages to get plugged into.
Hear the Torah and the new covenant preached here! See how Yeshua is the Messiah that changed everything! He died for our sins, the spotless Lamb and Son of G-d! Because of Him, we have peace with יהוה who is the Father of ALL who believe in HIS Son, Yeshua! Yeshua is coming back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah to rule from the throne of David, as promised!
This is truly a great community to be part of. Northwest teaches the Bible and has wonderful, inviting spaces for all ages and stages of life. Come check it out!
Great Bible church! Open & friendly & great teaching straight from the Word. This church has been here forever and I can feel Gods presence. It’s the real deal! Pastor Neil teaches from scripture & makes it simple. Easy to get plugged in. People are very friendly. Worship is great too!
Great place for my daughter and her family! We love the fact that the adults have really grounded teaching, and the grandkids are in a top-notch children's program. They are in good hands since we are out of state.
