Nothing Bundt Cakes, Arlington TX

The product is great! However, in my opinion the stores lacks flexibility and outstanding service. The stores in Arlington closes an hour early than the other stores. Not sure what is going on with that inconvenience to shop. The prices are over the top! Every little thing you pay is pricey. For a flower on a cake, is more than 4 bucks! For our birthdays, I bought me a cake, and my brother a cake. The large ones! I didn't want to get a cupcake on the same day! The staff, offered little flexibility. He said, I would have to pick it up within the next week. That did not make any sense to me. The large cake, lasted for 3 weeks. What was wrong with picking up the cupcake before the month was over? Any hoot, I never got my cupcake.
Stores like this whom the patron is at their mercy to a small degree, could use more competition of like products to be sold in these areas. Just saying!

Cake is fantastic. I usually only get red velvet or lemon. Picked up a choc chip one for my moms bday. I decided to try the praline for myself. 5 stars too! Oh em gee!

It is not posted anywhere but you can not order bundtinis the way you want them past 5: 30. They want you to buy an assortment that they choose or nothing.

I went to the wrong one so I was running late. They were super friendly and waited for me to get there to pick up my order!

My order was not ready on time. I wish they didn’t offer pick up times if they are not going to stick with them.

Love this place! Then again, whats not to love? The cakes are always fresh and yummy. And the associates here are so nice and friendly. I feel like a "guest" every time I visit. They're just as excited for me to get my cake as I am! Its what keeps me going back.

I had been looking for a Nothing Bundt Cakes in Texas and my heart was almost broken until I found this one! I was looking for a special cake for my wife: Red velvet with chocolate chips! I walked in and was greeted by America who served with kindness, Cameron, whose cheery attitude can light up anyone's day, Chandler with his gorgeous smile, and Natalie, whose professionalism is admirable. They were all so amazing in their recommendations and different ways of decorating the cake and my wife LOVED THE CAKE! You really feel their team effort working as one unit. It really made my day and it was the highlight of my day. I can't wait to come back to try more cakes and surprise my wife even more!

Excellent product but the delivery was lacking. I mostly deal with business that offer curbside delivery. To me this means I pull up, you come out and place in my car. I called to let them know I was outside. I'm directed to a small table outside their door where they sit the product and them I pick it up and place in my car. While waiting, I see so many other clerks walking to cars throughout the lot. I was the only one it seemed instructed use the table. My SUV was parked backwards, with tailgate opened. Yet and still no help. Sooo the tip I had in my hand for him, I awarded to me.

I love Nothing Bundt Cake! The bundtlettes are the best to get, large enough for two servings at a reasonable price. I usually go for flavors they always serve, such as lemon or confetti. This time, I went with “blueberry bliss, ” which I do not recommend. The sugar alcohols in the imitation blueberry instant flavoring they added to the batter took over the whole cake, including my favorite part - the frosting! There were also zero blueberries in the cake. I don’t expect fresh fruit from NBC, but most places that serve blueberry cake/muffin type desserts will include them in the batter. I don’t think they’re too expensive, but I could be wrong. I just don’t think it should be called “bliss, ” but that could be my biased opinion of bliss brought on by blueberries lol. Just call it blueberry.

I called this location on May 28 to order a cake, balloons and candles to be delivered to my mother in Arlington on June 4th, 2020. That day is my mother birthday and I called my mother to see if she received her cake around 3: 30 PM. She informed me no so I started calling the store. I called numerous times for more then two hours. I kept getting a voice mail in which I pressed 2 for ordering a cake. I thought that would get me to a person, which it did not. The store's voicemail box is full so you cannot leave a message. I live in another part of Texas so I cannot just drive by the store. The last resort was that I had to contact a friend in Arlington who drove by the store. They gave her the cake, balloons and candles. If I did not have anyone in Arlington then my mother would have gone without a cake. Even today on June 5th I am trying to contact the store because they charged me $15 for delivering the items, which they did not deliver! I have done business with NBC in Fort Worth and Plano, which those locations were excellent and I guess the S. Arlington location is the black sheep of an otherwise customer friendly company.

I increased the rating from 1 star to 3 because the owner replied to my email and refunded the monies for my entire order and offered an apology. The gesture was appreciated and I will try their location at least one more time.

Yesterday I was having an awful day. I was getting bad news left and right and I thought my favorite lemon cake from Nothing Bundt Cake would cheer me up. Right before going in I got MORE bad news and just had a complete meltdown. I wiped my tears and was determined to get my cake. I went in the ladies that work there are ALWAYS so kind. They are always smiling and offering assistance. As soon as I walked in they saw that I was amiss and gave me such kindness and hospitality. They didn't have to but they made me feel that they cared and were genuinely concerned about me. They even gave me a napkin to wipe my tears. I'm so grateful and so thankful. They went above and beyond for me yesterday to let me know they cared. In a world where we often are busy, it may be awkward to show support to those that are just not ok in that moment, I was so thankful for the ladies at NBC at that moment. I've even gone in there and dumped out my purse and gave them all my coins and they were so sweet while I counted out the change where others may have been slightly irritated they would have to count the coins the lady accepted it with a smile. With that being said, they have AMAZING employees and cake. My family goes there all of the time. It's so moist and flavorful. If I could give a million likes for this location, I would. THANK YOU!
