NTB-National Tire & Battery reviews
32Good guys. I trust them with my car. Vinny was super helpful. In and out quick. I'll go there again when I need tires.
Very reliable, speedy, and friendly service. Would return and highly recommend for all your vehicles repair/maintenance needs.
Great store and amazing employees! Everyone is fair and professional. They are also very prompt. I was in-and-out in less than a hour. Definitely returning!
Came into NTB for a brake job and I wanted to let them know that they did such a great job. They were fast and efficient. I did not have to wait too long like other places. Thank you so much.
I tried to call this location and John and Nick answered and they tell me not to call them. I dunno what I did to this location but that was beyond bogus that they would tell me not to call when I was in need of service for tires.
Great service, been here a few times they have never disappointed. They have great crew will recommend to anyone.
WARNING take your car to a real tire shop.
Came in today because I had a nail on my rear tire I told them I wanted it patched. The attendant ask for my keys to look at it. He comes back saying I need a new tire because the nail was too big. I go back and look at my tire and he calls me to the desk. He takes a call while I was in front of him. I asked for my keys and left the building.
Because I've once been told that I needed breaks on my car when I had just bought the car I called BS.
The nail was in the middle of the tire and could be patched with out a problem. I dont appreciate the this is a woman let's get her with what ever we can customer service they provide.
I took my car a few miles down to a repair shop in Kingsland where they attended me with great customer service.
I would rather get towed the next time than recomend anyone to this NTB. They will look at you as $$$ not a customer.
As far as getting tires from here, I don't have anything bad to say. I've come to this NTB twice in the past only because I had an emergency, both times on a Sunday when Discount was closed. This last time I came, I decided to buy 4 new tires, and during the install, they gave me a call telling me that I needed new lower control arms because my bushings were bad. They quoted me for around 700 dollars for parts and labor. I decided to wait. After about 5,000 miles of driving and no symptoms, I returned to get my tires balanced and rotated. NTB asked me if I wanted an alignment, but I told them that I had not yet replaced my control arm assembly. They said in that case, they could not perform the alignment. I even overheard them telling another customer there that they too needed new control arms. I decided I would do the repair myself and nearly purchased new control arms, but first decided to take my car to a local trusted shop to get a second opinion. They put my car on a lift, and after inspection, they assured me that both of my control arms and bushings were just fine and in absolutely no need of repair. They even took me out to the lift to show me everything in detail. I then took my car to another shop and had a successful alignment performed, and there was not a word spoken of the control arms or bushings. Honestly, NTB has lost my trust and business.
Got new tires and an alignment done on my 2005 Crossfire. Very professional. Great customer service. Will return in the very near future. Thanks!
They're slow, they mumble, and they offer no real assistance. Customer satisfaction is not a phrase they recognize. Shame I can't give them a zero.
They got me in and out at the last minute without issue. No complaints, only compliments, great job!
Extremely rude! It was an awful experience. They charged me for a battery under warranty. They refused to reimburse. The little clerk, Erick, refused to help take care of the over charge. When I asked for his last name, he said that I didn't need it. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Even Interstate said that this was a gross error by the Katy NTB. Very incompetent group of individuals.
Part out of stock, waiting another hour: very simple oil change costs me 3 trips. " cannot finish in 3 hours" for 1st time; ask me to make an appointment 2nd trip; part out of stock in my 3rd trip that ask me waiting another hour and recommended service (front brake pads change) is higher than the dealer, and
the free Wifi blocks Youtube, you cannot do anything waiting there
After latest service / repair tires inflated to 50 psi. Oil filter changed and after three days Low Oil warning light showed up. Needed 2 quarts of oil to get back to correct oil level.
Service is good and fast. My only peeve is, that all the times I go there there's at least SOMETHING bad with my car, and is over $1000.
The "shop manager" pulled on my door handle while the doors were locked and broke the handle. Then he had the nerve to say that it was old and it would break anyway. Just be a professional and accept responsibility when you damage your customer's vehicle! I'll never go here again and I strongly suggest potential customers to do the same! I'm working with corporate to have my vehicle repaired but I don't have much faith in the process.
They are very sneaky. They find ways to not do a good job. Bought alignment but never aligned the car right. They force you to buy optional services and make you think that is seriously wrong with your car. There is always a reason for not doing the job right, unless you welling to over pay.
Take my truck to put a patch and they were a terrible service caused me to be stranded on the road because they did not patched my tire. They took out the nail but they do not know how to repair the tires. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
I've been to this place more then once for different issues concerning to my wheels or tires. Everytime I've been there they've been nothing but professional and showed outstanding customer service. I'd recommend this place over their competitors every time.
I’ve been going here for years, I’ve done several reviews. I’m not sure why they keep getting deleted, especially when they are so great! Anyways, these are the mechanics and or technicians I think everyone can trust. They will break it down to you Barney style.
