NTB-National Tire & Battery, Houston TX

Very hot inside the building. We had to sit outside with my truck running just to stay cool. After they took my truck to the back we seen another waiting room that was much cooler than the store waiting room. They should have told us where the waiting room was.

I’ve been to this location several times but never left a review. The fact that I have been back is enough evidence that this place gives great customer service. This time was for yet another nail in my tire. I arrived about an hour before close but the service was quick and friendly. Walter was the name of the person who helped me. Will definitely be back when it’s time for new tires.

I don't like this shop. Store manager tries to make up things for you to have done to your vehicle. Caught him in his act. Never go back again.

4 hours just to plug a tire because they don't want to honor their warranty.when the plug comes out and damage my vehicle.maybe they're liable

While waiting in line for my son’s driving test our car battery died. Of course this happens after waiting over an hour with the engine off. I looked behind us and see NTB and walk over and without hesitation, the young man behind the counter grabs the portable charger and in less than 3 minutes after I walk in, the issue is solved without charge. Very appreciative of the nice gesture and will be back if anything is ever needed!

First of all, I had to give 1 star against my will!
2nd of all, this location by far has the worst customer service. I purchased tires from them with the extended warranty 3 months ago. I came by two weeks ago on a Saturday at 3pm (mind you they close at 6pm on Saturdays) and they said they couldn’t PATCH (30 min job, if that) one of my tires because it was too late. Luckily my tire wasn’t losing air at the time, so I left. I finally had time to bring it again at 8am on a Tuesday morning (2 weeks later) and the clerk starts off by saying he doesn’t know if they’ll be able to fix it depending on the size of the nail and that it would take 1.5 hours to get it done IF they can fix it. ALL THIS before even looking at my account and realizing I had road hazard and that my tires were only 3 months old. Rule of thumb NTB from someone in customer service: always see what you can do for your customer, give them solutions not more problems! Anyhow, I decided to wait only to hear this same guy tell everyone after me that his store may or may not be able to get to them for at least 2-3 hours. All the meanwhile my car is half way done because there’s no way a patch on a tire will take 1.5 hours being that I was their first customer of the day! Point here is, DON’T GIVE THIS NTB ON EAST FREEWAY YOUR MONEY. GO ELSEWHERE, THESE GUYS DON’T DESERVE FOR THEIR NUMBERS TO LOOK GOOD (IF IN FACT THEIR NUMBERS LOOK GOOD, WHICH I DOUBT). I HOPE NTB REVAMPS (THIS STORE WITH NEW EMPLOYEES THAT ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK) SOON OR AT LEAST INVEST IN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ASAP. EITHER-WAY I will be driving to the one on sam Houston pkwy in humble to give them a shot next time.

Just terrible. Took almost 45 minutes just to tell me they can't do the oil change. I can go to my usual mechanic and get my oil change done in less then 30 minutes. Terrible. The guy atleast kept his mouth shut when I called him out for wasting my time. I'll give him that much.

I have a 2000 Corvette that the battery was being replaced. The front bumper was damaged while being backed out of the stall. The store manager Noe Alonso was upfront and honest with what happened. He took responsibility, made arrangements for a new bumper & we picked the repair shop to do the work. I would recommend NTB for the service and honesty.

I mean if I could give more stars I would! Like amazing customer service! Super nice, Super patient! I can’t ask for more! I will come back and ask for Noe every single time! Thank you again for your service

They don't listen to their costumers just want make money and tell you to fix things that you don't even need or want done ohh and if you need a alignment they don't only do front end alignment they tell you it needs all around alignment and that will come out for cheap one run you like 250 5 yr one like 350 with out the taxes and alignment is no more than 100 for my car

Every tire issue I’ve had I’ve coke here and they fix my issues in a timely manner. The place is always quiet and kept neat!

Service was slow. I purchased 2 new tires on the front of my truck. It took 1hour and 15 minutes for each tire + my truck is pulling left now. It wasn't pulling when I brought it in.

Awesome service. Got new tires 2 days ago but did not purchase the road hazard warranty. Hit something on the way to work this morning and blew out the side of the tire. They replaced it for and realigned the front end again. Best service ever!

Got in and out in about 45 mins. Tire had a screw and we needed repairs. It was close to the edge so I was worried that they might tell me to replace the tires. However, they were honest with me and gave me the right advice and fixed the tire in no time. Very courteous and friendly!

4 hour wait time for regular oil change. No point in having great customer service and top of the line facilities if y'all gonna lose customers on ridiculous wait times. To much overhead for service to be slow.

Really bad customer service. The guys here are rude! I came in and nicely explained what was going on and the guy gave me attitude! This same thing happened to me years ago. I thought I would give it another try since its been about years and its the closest NTB to my house. But.different guys, same bad attitude.

NTB has gone out of their way for us today. We needed copies done ASAP and they did just that! They really saved our day - THANK YOU!

I Went to Another Location on Thursday and bought 2 New Tires. They Needed to Be Balanced, my Ride Would Vibrate as soon as I Hit 60MPH. This Store Charged Me $11 Bucks for Each Tire (under Warranty) also one of the Studs were Stripped and Needed to be Replaced, The Manager REFUSED to Replace it After I Said I Would Pay For It.
Am Back @ The Original Store Getting it Fixed Now.
Avoid the East Freeway Location if at all Possible! I Wouldn't Recommend them to my Worst Enemy.

Stopped in with a class c motorhome and Frank was able to get me a quote and back out of the store within an hour. 6 new tires for under a thousand bucks great deal.
