NTB-National Tire & Battery, Waco TX

Unbelievably slow. Three guys in the back blaring music and smoking cigarettes enough to make the lobby smell of smoke. My truck is the only vehicle here and they have been doing 1 flat repair and a rotation on it for 2 hours. I see why I’m the only one here and will not be back.

They were my go to place for oil changes 3-4 times a year up until earlier this month. I went for a simple oil change and was told they couldn't do it because I had several leaks and some more nonsense. I decided to get not only a second, but third opinion as well including going to my own mechanic. Both shops I had no leaks coming from anywhere and my oil was easily changed in less than 20 mins and my air filter. They see a woman with her baby coming in and decided to take full advantage! I'm not gonna say I don't recommend, but if you're a woman don't go in there alone bc they will try to get over. I will never go back.

Scheduled my appointment 10 days ago, went there and they said they can’t do my “free brake inspection “ today. Not sure if it is the case because it’s a free service.
I have asked is this a regular situation, they said yes! Then what’s the point of appointment? I had canceled my other schedules for this appointment! Bad management!

The person at the counter acted like he was inconvenienced by my presence. Many of my company cars have had their tires replaced by this NTB location. Not anymore. Discount Tire is where we will do our business now.

I was stranded in Waco, TX last weekend! But Vinny and Frank saved my LIFE! The entire team was so professional and respectful.

I set up an appointment to get a nail removed from my tire - they told me there was no nail but a pinhole in the side wall and tried to sell me a new tire starting at $350. They did not roll the tire out to show me and did not offer to.
Made me feel like I wish my dad was here to take care of it because of the blatant disrespect. I wonder which of us would be taken seriously.
Discount Tire on Waco Drive plugged the nail hole for free. (:

Manager is always honest and straight forward with me. When I have an appointment scheduled my vehicle is brought into the bay promptly after my arrival. If I have a part out such as a wheel bearing or ball joint they show me first hand what the problem is so I can either repair it myself or let them do it. No complaints, will continue to use them for my alignments/rotations/balancing.

Rick has got to be the friendliest and nicest sales associate I've had the pleasure to meet. Great customer service, and the new tires are riding great.

I don't like giving bad reviews but I think NTB Waco honestly deserves this rating. I took my car to get it looked at in mid February and I was told that it needed a new wheel bearing, work on my lug nut / bolts, and more. I agreed to the services and paid a little over $1,600. I took my car in the morning and I got the car on the same day in the late afternoon. Six days after I get the servicing at NTB Waco I hear abnormal noises and talk to the store manager Brian, he's very professional and tells me it's normal and that when I get my next oil change I just need to add some lucas oil. I take the store manager's feedback and continue to use the car until it breaks down on the sixth day after I got it serviced. I opened the hood and noticed a tool that the mechanic (s) left in my car! I had to get it towed to another NTB locating in DFW and it took 15 days for my car to get fully serviced again. I've supported NTB for the past couple of years but after this $1,600+ incident it's made me reconsider.

Long story short: Took my car in to get checked at, payed $1,600 for the servicing. Six days later my car broke down, I found a tool from the mechanic inside my car! The NTB in DFW took over two weeks to fix my car.

Customer Service in NTB is good.

Honest & efficient. Found out my tire problem was minimal, so didn't charge. Highly recommended.

Good tires and value. Poor install on lugs.after changing the tire due to a flat it was discovered that the tech reinstalled the incorrect lug size on the vehicle. Watch everything from this shop.the tech saw it and still proceeded. Wheel could have easily come off the vehicle has the lug loosened and failed. At your own risk.

Great experience. Told me the problem with my tire but didn't have my size. Neither did 3 other shops in town. I recommend them.

Great shop had all my tires, oil, filter in stock. Called the night before and made an appointment over the phone very Easy process. When I arrived they took my car back and changed 4 tires, oil and filter change and a alignment all in under a hour. Highly recommend NTB waco. Will be back for all my tires and oil changes.

Took my car here to get a power steering fluid leak fixed and the $326.00 repair lasted 3 weeks. Took my car back as I began having the leak again and now I was told there is another part that needs to be replaced to fix the leak which will cost me $725.00. This should have been fixed right the first time. Not going back!

Excellent service. I was told that I had about an hour wait. 15 minutes later, the tech told me he had a gap while waiting on parts for another car. He jumped on mine and had me out quickly. You rarely see that. The technicians name was Jesus. Thank you.

NTB is my go to for all my vehicle tire needs. They are fast and always have had what I needed same day service. Definitely I happy and satisfied customer for several years. Some folks say that they are pricey I say you get what you pay for.
