Update:

Initial experience was great. It's been three years since the install. I was having some AC work done and we were checking on a PVC drain line. We opened the hot water heater closet to confirm that it was from the hot water heater and not from an AC Unit.

At some point after install, the 2X4 wooden mount that they used to install the unit has detached from the drywall on the left side. (It was installed into a stud on the right side, and into drywall on the left.and as a result the left side is completely hanging free). It's a gas unit, and the AC guy notes that if they had just run a longer 2X4 (like 14 more inches) they could have attached it into the stud on the left side as well and that I should call them back out. He also noted that the drywall screws seemed to not be long enough to hold well.

I put in a call and speak with the gentleman who answered. He asked if the unit was still working, and I told him it was.that it just needed to be reattached to the wall before it completely detached and fell on the gas/water pipes underneath it. He said it doesn't sound like a repair call, but someone would get back to me. I wait about three weeks, and then I send a follow-up email.

I got this response that evening from Mai.

"Thank you for sending this email. We will review and get back to you as soon as possible. "

That was a week ago. I followed up with a reminder email a couple days later, with no response to that one. Apparently, we'll get back to you means "ignore their customer and hope the problem goes away".

My advice, buy a Navien unit (it's great!). But get it from someone else who will be there if their installation work needs some TLC down the road.

Top notch plumber with quick response time. What I believed was a big problem turned out to not be and he was honest about it. Saved me money and earned my trust.

Been using NTX for years for all kinds of plumbing issues, commercial & residential. There is none better. The guys are so great. And nice! Love the smoke bombing procedure that takes all the time consuming guesswork over “what’s clogged and where? ” Today one of the toilets had come unseated and that problem was found within 10 minutes of arrival.

We called NTX to fix a leak this week. The plumbing service was good, but we feel we were significantly overcharged. The picture shows how small our leak was; it took the plumber two hours to fix and they charged us $600. NTX chargers $150 just to come out, which seems above market rate. Before locating the leak, the plumber said the job would probably cost $500-$600, which we couldn’t really argue since we didn’t know what the problem was. After he fixed the small leak, the total was of course at the top end of the range provided. They fixed the problem, but just know you’ll likely be overcharged for the job you need done.

Great plumbing company! Very professional and honest and great prices. They put my gas lines up to coed and got the inspections done right away. So I give them a 5 star review.

Jose did an excellent job. He was very nice and friendly, plus he explained what might have been some possible reasons as to what might cause drainage clogs. Jose was quick & did an excellent job. I am very satisfied.

Scott was amazing- very professional, quick, on time, and helpful! I know nothing about plumbing but am a first time homebuyer and he took the time to explain everything and make sure my mind was put to ease. Jose was very pleasant and courteous throughout the process of removing 2 old Rinnai tankless water heaters and installing a new one. He arrived promptly and explained clearly when I asked questions about the installation, the unit’s functioning and maintenance. I was pleased with the work.

NTX really saved me. My daughter is coming home for Thanksgiving tonight and her toilet was blocked and her tub was filled with black water. They came out late last night and fixed the problem. They were extremely thorough and took the time to show me where the issues were in my pipes. Thank you very much!

NTX Plumbing was fantastic. Had a clog in the kitchen sink, called in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in by lunchtime. The tech did the snake, found some mud, crawled under the house to confirm there wasn’t broken pipe, flushed the system out and got me flowing again. Super helpful, could have talked me into a scope of the pipe to find the origin of the mud but he felt good with the flow so I didn’t have to waste any money. Great people, will call them again.

Technician that came to our house was extremely courteous and knowledgeable; going the extra mile to problem solve our issue. The only negative was our service window was originally 9am-1pm but he was unable to arrive until after 6pm.

This was the 2nd time we had Miguel out. He is so friendly and doesn’t try to upsell anything and just fixes the issue. Great company when needed! Hopefully we won’t have to see Miguel any time soon!
