NUA Thai reviews
15Found a couple miles from the museums based on reviews and would definitely return. The man who served us was very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. Bonus: they have a parking lot and are open beyond 2 for lunch.
Now I've had a lot of Thai food, but NUA is by far the best I've ever had! Their Cashew Nut dish is so incredibly flavorful I could eat it just about every day.
Great place for Thai food and its not overpriced. Staff is nice and overall great spot to eat and relax in.
We ordered the pad kee mao and yellow curry to go and both were absolutely delicious, and decent portion sizes as well!
I love this place. It probably doesn’t even need a review with how good they are but I figured after about the 10th time ordering takeout I would review. Food is so delicious. Curries are flavored, creamy but not too heavy. And the wonderful thing is they really do good for take out orders too! I’ve eaten inside only once mostly cause parking is always an issue there but the food in the restaurant and out the restaurant are the same! This is one of our favorites for sure for downtown food
Red Curry was delicious, so was the Papaya Salad. You get to choose a heat level for both. Note, these dishes are sweet. The dumplings were tasty with good portions. The Thai Tea was spot on. Environment is neat and cozy. Server was polite. Recommend for a casual lunch/dinner. The food is the strength here for sure.
My wife and I have been wanting to try this restaurant out for some time now. We finally made time, and we weren't disappointed. The food was exceptional. Full of flavor and culture! We will definitely return to try other menu items. The only issue we ran into was parking. They have parking but it is a small lot. I ended up paying 7 dollars to park in the lot next to the restaurant. Downtown life.smh!
We love this place and have been coming here for a while. Plenty of vegetarian options. Authentic and flavorful dishes. Our goto's are tofu spring rolls, red curry fried rice with tofu, and drunken noodles with tofu. Every now and then we get the panang or massaman curry or spicy basil tofu (pad kra pow). Tonight I decided to try the brussels sprout and although it had great flavor it was too saucy. Prices are reasonable and portions are perfect. *Update on service* Service was good but it seems to have gone down a bit. From what I can tell they are short staffed. There is one person managing the tables and that can get backed up pretty quickly. That one person is also answering phones and helping people coming in to pick up Togo orders etc. Plenty of seating. Parking is limited but there's street parking nearby. Happy they're in the neighborhood.
Exceptional place to eat. Excellent service always. Always with a smile. Fantastic food. Worth to try it.
Love the Green Curry! I have dined in and ordered delivery many times. The food is always delicious and the portions are large. I will Uber eats this place all the way to Pearland, it’s that good!
I’ve been craving Thai food for a few weeks now, never been to a Thai restaurant in Houston before. I decide to come here & hope that my favorite dish, drunken noodle is good. It was the best I had, & my boyfriend first time eating Thai food, he enjoyed it more than I did, & I love Thai food. Server was great at her job as well. Restrooms clean & seating is comfortable.
I heard really good things about their food so went to try. Food was good taste wise but portion size was small compared to the price. The egg rolls were over fried almost close to being burnt. Heard a lot about the drunken noodles but didn’t find anything extraordinary; it was okay. Service could have been better. Didn’t like the fact that they don’t accept cash. Very difficult to find parking during dinner time. Just right beside the restaurant there is a paid parking spot so we had to park there.
Great fried rice, but you have to get lucky with the parking. The strawberry lemonade wasn't what it used to be. I think I was given pink lemonade instead.
Nice place near the downtown.
Quiet enough, no loud music.
We took crab fried rice and hot seafood.
Seafood is fresh and good cooked.
Fried rice is very tasty. Hot seafood is served with boiled rice, so you can enjoy different rice here.
