NYC Bagel & Sandwich Shop, Colleyville TX

We place a large order for bagels a few times a year. Our 'go to' place closed. We tried NYC this time. Glad we did. Great bagels. A large order was filed correctly and on time. The quality is outstanding. Looks like we have a *new* 'go to' place!

Been waiting for a good bagel in North Texas for a while now and finally found it! The staff prepared fresh for me a dozen everything bagels in about 10 minutes and my family and I have been noshing on them almost every day! This is the only place I'll be getting bagels from now on. Thank you NYC Bagel & Sandwich Shop!

Service was kind; however, bagels were dense and stale, not chewy at all, and certainly nothing like a bagel in NYC. Einstein Brothers bagels are better. So was the airport bagel I had at LaGuardia. Even my kids were disappointed and didn't finish their food.

I really like this place but the doors were locked when i just tried to come in at 11am, i dont understand why they were closed because the business hours said they were open: (

I wish i knew about this place sooner! I got a bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel& it tasted just like back home - Long Island ny. Soo good!

Went in for the first time and was severely disappointed. I bought a baker’s dozen. The bagels were not fresh. I know bagels, being from the Northeast, and these were old bagels. They were hard. The display case was nearly empty and the traffic in the shop was only me. This place is in a death spiral. Business is down so they don’t make the bagels fresh every day, so the bagels they sell are hard and disappointing, so customers post negative reviews and don’t return, so business declines, so they don’t bake them fresh every day - DEATH SPIRAL. Either they wise up and start baking them fresh every day AND THROWING OUT THE UNSOLD BAGELS AT THE END OF THE DAY, or I predict they will be shutting their doors for good within I’d say…3 months. Not good.

I thought I was being pranked, the box weighed more than the Sandwich. If this is a $14 Pastrami Special, it's a shame to call yourself a NY Sandwich shop. Too much mustard overpowers the 3 slices of Pastrami.

For some strange reason I expected the steak, egg, & cheese bagel to be the same quality as the picture. This looks more like roast beef, def won’t order here again.

Really disappointing bagels and overpriced menu. Labeling NYC as the shop name and serving supermarket bagels doesn't help. Won't order from here ever again.

Ordered a bagel sandwich which was very dry and bland. Couldn't eat more than a bite. Had to throw it away.

Flavors were good, unfortunately, bagels were extremely stale and hard to chew. Very disappointed: (I used to come here when they first opened but now it seems to be a major let down.

Good food, don't use the Bitcoin ATM though. Definitely a scam. BTC price is $27K today. ATM selling at $35K. Instant loss to whoever buys BTC from that machine.

Bagels are not fresh at all. Ordered on Uber eats. You’re better off just getting a bagel at the grocery store.

Great service! Pretty good cream cheese! But the bagel itself tasted day old then frozen then warmed up just too hard. Bagel chips were nice though seemed fresher then the bagel.

Ordered through grubhub. How does a bagel shop that offers lattes not know how to make an iced latte? I ordered a caramel iced latte and got this frozen coffee concoction that was neither a latte or caramel. How incompetent can you be? How do you offer espresso drinks and not know how to make a latte over ice? Seriously. Then there's the breakfast burritos that I ordered. They were very meh. Definitely not bothering with this place again.

Ordered from here on Uber eats and it was splendid!
We got an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese and it was filling. Definitely a good place to order from!

Stopped in this morning for first time ever. It was around 10 and they were starting to get sold down. Looked like help was a bit thin, but where haven’t that been an issue last couple of years. Bagels were pretty good and served hot and ready.
Will be back!

My daughter (26yr old) has been eating bagels most everyday and I am here waiting on freshly baked NYC Bagels especially for her. She says these are absolutely the very best she has ever tasted! I am having a very delicious Jalepeno bagel breakfast sandwich while waiting. Yum

Every few months I go in and give it another try because I say to myself, maybe its gotten better. Today, at 7: 30AM (you would think that they were freshly baked this early in the morning), I went in and got 2 bagels with cream cheese. The woman taking care of me was very nice and asked if I wanted them toasted. I said preferrably not if they are soft. She cut one open and put the cream cheese and the other she put it in the oven. I get to my destination 15 min away and the one that she toasted was hard as a rock (no exaggeration). I couldn't eat it because it was so hard. Now I realize why I stop going there. I'm pretty sure that they are giving us day old (or more) bagels. For the almost $13 for 2 bagels, I guess I'll just start going to Einsteins (which really isn't a bagel because they are not boiled).

So sad.went there about a month ago and ladies were so kind and bagels were freshly made but stopped by the other day, the ladies were gone and it looked like the place was going out of business. Picked up my order, went to the car to eat the sandwich and it was wrong so went back to the door and the worker had closed the shop early, awful and so disappointing. I was willing to take the long trip there for the great fresh bagels like I previously bought but now, can't recommend tge place because the bagels this time were very hard, no better than Davids from the grocery store.so sad for what started off as a wonderful find.guess i have to get back to einsteins until i can find a more consistent quality bagel shop.

Beware, under new management now. Used to be worth the premium price, but they seem to be cutting lots of corners now, probably to save money: 2/3 of our bagels were stale, store was hot (they admitted AC was turned off), sweet tea tasted fake, cheap straws are barely longer than the cup height, etc. Hope they take this in stride and don't undo the little details that made this place worth paying extra for before.
