Oceans Behavioral Hospital Pasadena

I have had a loved one there for over a week. I have called multiple times and there's never an answer. I have left voicemails every single time with not one return call. When I speak to my loved one (when she calls me), she says they have not told her once that I've tried calling. What good is giving a patient code if you won't even answer the phones so we can check in on our loved ones in a very much needed time for them. I'm very disappointed in this lack of communication.

I have been working with Vera for multiple years now. She is an wonderful representation and shows the upmost love and care for her patients. Highly recommend Oceans and working with Vera.

Our 93 year old father went in to this facility walking and talking. He came out in a wheelchair with his head down drooling on himself. He took the clothes they told him to bring. We visited every day and told them every day that he wasn’t wearing his own clothes. They didn’t seem to care. Phone calls were not returned. Poor communication with the staff who told us the first day to call anytime. His teeth weren’t brushed. They told us the first day they like their patients to be present and not drugged up. Our father took only a multivitamin, and a heartburn pill when he went in. He came out with six prescriptions. Think hard before you bring an elderly person here for treatment.

Ocean’s in Pasadena is truly terrific and have been so supportive to my family. I can’t thank them enough for the help I’ve received. Twila was awesome to work with and Lavinia really helped me out. Thank you Ocean’s! They truly care! ️️️️️

I have always highly recommended Oceans Behavioral Hospital to my families. I have seen many success stories with my residents who have dementia who received treatment from Oceans.

The violence I seen in there I will never forget. I watched the lady get her lip bit off I watched old women get pushed down.the staff makes fun when I left they kept medicationthe I went back in and retrieved my medication but my pain medication was missing and so was my $90. DO NOT DEEN YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE! I am a paraplegic was never given nor hair I came home with skin breakdown they are not equipped to handle elderly paraplegics stroke ECT! THEY JUST LEAVE THEM IN!

OKAY. SO HERE'S THE TRUTH. I am currently an employee here at oceans for about another hour until I submit my resignation. The older employees (Techs) are mean hateful, rude to the residence and to the New Employees. VERY AGGRESSIVE IN THEIR TONE OF SPEECH AND ALSO TOUCH. They're running off the New Employees like me who have Very Good intentions towards the residents. I cannot in good conscience continue to work here. I care a lot about the patients but I'm only one person. Ms Shameka the Admistrator is GREAT but is only one person. The things that I've seen (patients lying on the floor on a mattress). And Heard. (Patients SCREAMING at the hands of the tech's and CNAs in the residents rooms), I just can't work here anymore. I've voiced my concerns. (Nothing Done) DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO A NURSING HOME.

Mother Isabel Trevino is at this facility I have been calling since Wednesday, I left messages and no one has returned my call till this point. My son went to go see his grandma a looks in a very bad stage. My mother is diabetic and they should know the consequences when don’t eat or don’t have enough fluids. This is facility we’re don’t communicate with relatives.they did not informed us that we were supposed to bring her hygiene stuff or clothes. Imagine my mother since Wednesday. I hope these employees have a mother that would like to see them like this.because I know that I treat my patients with respect and try to help them at all times. But karma comes around. If something happens to my mother this will the killing place were I will protest to shut down. And inform all medical places were a referr to never come here

Twila is amazing. You can tell she has a huge heart for for what she does and her patients. Her level of kindness is something that you don't see to often.

Oceans Pasadena has always provided excellent care to residents that we have referred l to their services. Vera is an AMAZING liaison and advocate for Oceans, and Jobain is wonderful at communicating updates and expressing current needs for the residents. I recently toured Oceans, and the new renovations are gorgeous, and it is apparent that the team cares about their patients needs and wants to provide excellent care. Love working with this team.

Not only does Vera provide superior customer service and is there for any issues or concerns, she has developed a great report with our staff and residents. I, as the Director of Resident Social Services, as well as the Focused Care at Webster staff, greatly appreciate Oceans Behavioral services. And thank you again for the wonderful lunch to show our nurses they are appreciate, not only for nurses week, but all year round!

I wish I could rate this facility higher, but it's been impossible to get anyone to help me. The first time I call, nobody answers so I leave a voice message, a few hours go by and I call again no body answers and then I decide to call a third time and no one answers. The fourth time I call I finally get a hold of someone but they say they won't take care of me because I am under the age of sixty, I say "hey on your site it says the outpatient line will take eighteen plus" and then she transfers me to outpatient, but guess what, they don't answer me either so I am stuck leaving another email.
It's horrible how this facility seems not to care about their potential patients, people coming to them in a mental health crisis and they will happily ignore you. I wanted to give this facility a chance after the seemingly good reviews, but the staff does not care about you.

Yall call self healing is your focusi don't think so I called left my number never got a call back I was needing help for my wife because is going through some mental issues very disappointed.
