The State needs to review how the front staff is handling their job. They don't greet you when you get called to the window they just ask that you hand them the sign in form and have a seat until called. Meantime they are their in a huddle like hens. Also, they are more concerned about the fathers on the case than the mothers of the child/children. It takes two and without either you wouldn't have a job. Let that sink in.

The system has to be changed. I used to receive child support for my 3 children for many years and received $240 per month. The non-custodio parent has worked doing contract work, earning a good salary, but the amount given to me never changed till years later. When my oldest turned almost 18 y/o. The AG personnel asked if my case had been reviewed in the past and I said "NO". It was then when I found out that every 2 or 3 years I believe, the custodio parent is intitled to have the child support case reviewed. Never was I informed via a call or letter during the past years: (and if within the cp report it was mentioned I missed it FYI. In March a chunk of money was taken away from the noncustodio parent, was told they had a window of 180 days for it to be cleared and released to me, it's still pending. I haven't received it and my youngest son already turned18 y/o.

Only use the attorney general as a last effort because even if you do start to collect, they steal your money. It took me 5 years to see a dime with him paying $320 a month for 2 kids with $120 of it going back to state for Medicaid. When a lump sum was finally paid after they finally took more effort to get payment they took most if it saying I owed them when I was a single parent and received TANF. They are nice and all but don't think this place will be your saving grace. Recently an error was made by the state and they stole months of my children's child support with more excuses than one could comprehend.

The most unhappy and unhelpful office of “professionals” I have ever encountered. It is sad to see this still exists. If you don’t like your job, get a higher education, but don’t bring down people that are already hurting.

Called to report my employer so that they can deduct my monthly payment and the automated system took forever and didn't even give me the option to speak to someone regarding my reason for calling. It's like they almost want you to not report in so that they can take you to court and make you have to pay them plus court fees and the court appointed lawyer.

Called this morning needing standard information like can we report to the local AG's office instead of going out of town and the representative starts telling me that she can't discuss specifics of the case. How does me asking the above question get misconstrued? My questions were for general information. She sounded like I interrupted her coffee break or she just hates her job. Very rude dry person. Obviously, just there to collect her paycheck.
