This is one of the most popular sushi spots in the downtown Houston area. Quality sushi at great prices and an extensive happy hour. My friends and I came on a quiet Tuesday right around 530 PM and the wait was over an hour. Unfortunately, we missed happy hour but dinner was did not disappoint. We decided to go for the sashimi. Some of our favorite cuts include the toro, uni, kanpachi, ikura, hamachi, maguro, sake, smoked sake and the hokkigai. The fish was so fresh and buttery. Highly recommend ordering the uni and any of the toro.

The restaurant was completely filled when we got our seats. The servers were great at knowing which cuts were the best. Even with a packed restaurant our food came out really quickly. Definitely recommend this place if you want quality and its great for families as well. Large tables for big parties and wide variety of menu items. I'll definitely be back try their don bowls and happy hour menu.

This is a packed placed and the host said to our party to wait outside. Then he said to another customer your in my way and to another your definitely in my way. #rude

Staff is very professional, menu has a variety to choose from. And their sushi is just delicious! I loved it so much I felt I had to bring everyone I knew to this place.

The food is always delicious and fresh tasting. Highly recommend them to anyone who is a fan of sushi, and just great tasting dishes in general

The best sushi ever. My bf and I order to pick up all the weeks! I’m not lying haha. Cheap and delicious! You will need to be patient if you want to have dinner in, that’s the reason we always take the pick up option. The only bad thing is they don't open on Sundays haha. Btw the gyozas is a must!

Went there during lunch special and was told it would be a 30 minute wait and I didn't mind but it turned out to be only around 10! The servers are also very friendly and the food was crazy good, cheap and top quality. I already want to come back and try everything on the menu. I had the lunch special bento box and it was huge! I took some in a togo box because it was so much and it was only $9!

If you’re a bit late you will wait on line, cause they are not respecting your reservation, the staff and food are just ok, not a big deal and I will don’t come back.

Don't order the Udon noodle soup. They serve it boiling and it will take ten min to cool down and by that time the meat will be chewy from being over boiled. Also the broth is not that tasty. Skip this and skip the fried burnt vegetables tempura as well.

Decent, reasonably priced sushi. The fried corn and crab fritters were so delish. Very small parking lot and always a wait.

REALLY BAD SERVICE! The waiters are so RUDE! Probably food is good, I don't know, I didn't even have the chance to try it because of rude waiters! I waited for 1 hour just to be seated and about an hour being ignored. I ended up leaving!

Fresh nice variety of rolls and great happy hr. Huge menu selection with great friendly service. I highly recommend.

Came by after so many years of craving it. What I mean by craving it is that it’s really affordable and happy hour was calling! Quality of food is very good for price. I did think the Miso soup was rather salty but they replaced it for me. Happy hour was great 2-3 dollars for beers and buy one get one free appetizers were fantastic. The rolls we got were great! Highly recommend the sumo if you like those ingredients! As far as the appetizers the potatoes croquette was delicious and so was the fried tofu! A quick bit at the bar or a long dinner doesn’t matter cause you’ll enjoy it! The space will hold a good amount of guest. The parking lot though… is really small so I would keep that in mind. I am not sure if there is over flow parking. Either way enjoy some sushi!

Way too crowded. And totally not accessible at all. I could barely get in the door, I had to wait in the car for our table because it was too small, and the entryway to the bathroom was full of stacked chairs so I was unable to get into the restroom. Food was OK, but not for the amount of people crammed in a small place, and not for not being able to use the restroom.

Why eat sushi anywhere else? Sure you may find technically higher quality sushi, but the price and atmosphere is unbeatable here.

This hole in the wall can have up to 2hr waits on busy days, so get here early. Also, Happy Hour is EPIC. $2 appetizers + $3 Sake = my wife always drives home:)
