Got 2 dozen delicious tamales, rode there on the motorcycle, the small road off of 121 was treacherous to say the least. I met the owner and she was warm and welcoming. Had there been anywhere to sit and have lunch there or near by it would've been amazing to have them fresh and hot out of the steamer. I will definitely return if I happen to be going past there on a ride.

I've been getting tamales here for over 27 years. I live about a hour away and it's worth the drive. The juiciest best tasting tamales I have ever eaten and I have had a lot of different ones. If you get the chance stop buy and try them. Very friendly family owned operated. Even if you live a bit away it's a fun nice drive their and well worth it.

Disappointing. The flavor is there, but you couldn't find any meat even with a microscope. This is not how you make a good tamale. The filling was nothing but flavored masa. Buy the pies instead.

Best tamales I've ever had! Fried pies did not make the trip home, ended up finishing them off in the car. Will pre-order a couple whole pies next time.

Cute little pie place. We stopped by here on the way through town and had some pocket fried pies for a snack. They were great! And the service was friendly as well.

I found this place a little bit by accident a couple years ago and although have only made it back once or twice, I talk about it and recommend it constantly. The tamales and pies are outstanding. Well worth the drive, even from Carrollton for great food and people.
