Old MacDonald's Farm reviews
19When I looked this place on their website I thought this would be a nice place. But when I arrived with family I was very concerned about the well being of the animals. It was in the upper 90's that day and the rabbits didn't have any water. Flies were all over the animals and they looked miserable. Nothing like I saw on their website. I don’t recommend this place until the animals in their facility are taken care of in a humane manner.
I went 2 weeks ago when they had their pumpkin patch set up, that was cute. But the Zoo section was heartbreaking to see. They have the big animals inside small cages, with no room whatsoever, they should put those acres for good use. The bunnies were being picked up like rag dolls by children even though there is a sign that says DON'T PICK THEM UP. The animal food that's given to you to feed is like a mixture of bird food and something else, some better quality food for those poor animals would be amazing.
Loved it. Awesome place for the kids to have fun outdoors and play with the animals. My daughter had a blast
My only recommendation is that they should have a wider variety of snack, specially for the little ones
Great place for children to see and interact with real farm animals. Mini Train ride available. Snacks and drinks for sale.
Lots of land for the kids to run & play. Great customer service & reasonable prices. Only downside is the parking, have to get there early. There is reasonable amount of parking but I went on a beautiful day & it got crowded quickly.
The place was good but the parking was very difficult because it was very crowded and it took a lot of time to turn in and out from the main road
Brought our 11 mo old who loved it. Petting zoo could've been a little better (animals were scared, running to corner), pond was nice. Recommendation for more picnic space (we left hungry as they sell food but no place to eat) and places to change baby diaper.
My 2nd time back and it was a school field trip this time! Me and my group had a wonderful great time! Thanks for putting smiles on these kids faces!
Went to Old MacDonald's Farm the day before Thanksgiving and had a blast. The animals were well taken care of and the enclosures were clean. Many friendly animals, all from chickens to lamas, deer, goats, bunnies, and a beautiful pond full of ducks and geese. There's also lots of space for kids to run around, including a playground right on site. The restrooms were clean and available.
Nice place to bring young kids. Petting zoo with goats, sheep, lamas, chickens, deer, ponies (that can be ridden as well), cows, rabbits and ducks. There's also a train that goes around the farm. Several playgrounds. Sand pits. You can also buy feed to give to the animals.
Family business that takes pride in everything they do. We them at D-BAT HUMBLE just a ¼ MILE east.
My daughter's school went on a field trip here today and we absolutely loved it! Staff was super friendly and polite
We had a great time! It was very family friendly and the kids loved the animals and riding the ponies. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time with their kids at an inexpensive price.
Had a fantastic time despite the rain! The only thing I would add is if they would have a traffic control going in and out. It's kind of dangerous to cross those highways! Overall it was really cool!)
Mehhhh.it's grossly overpriced even with a discount. The train was broken. The pool was closed and the pumpkins were all gone when we visited early November. It just seemed sad and blah and we paid $12 pp vs $16. We just walked around once, saw the resting/sleeping animals and left about 30 min later. Went to the mall nearby after and the kids spent more time and had more fun in the mall play area that's free.
Maybe only go there when they are holding special events (if they even do that, I don't know). But on it's own, mehhh.
Cool place for kids to go and get too pet the animals friendly animals playground and more
I started coming here 10 years ago when my daughter was 5. It was okay then. But over time, they did nothing to improve the conditions of the farm. The reviews about poor animal care are true. Have you heard it said you can judge someone by the way they take care of their animals? If you, like me, believe that to be true, no one should go to this place until they start taking care of their animals, their property and now I read about bees. I was concerned about the wooden play structure as well. It's very old. I agree with the others. Stay away. I think Old MacDonald would not approve of the use of his name this way! At the least, check it out before you take your kids.
Great place for kids to learn, feed and interact with a variety of farm animals. Safe, secure, friendly staff.
Great place haven't been there for more than 20 some years still the same Great up grades love this pace
