Old Navy, Austin TX

I went to this store today and wanted to exchange a pair of pants (all tags still on, never been worn) for a different size and was told I could not because the receipt date was from 38 days ago and I sort of understand that I guess if I wanted cash back, but I was not asking to return them, I was asking to exchange them. I could see a rack of what looked to be the same jeans about 20 yards from where I was standing and they seemed to have quite a few pair over there. The clerk called the manager (I'm assuming that is who it was) and that person didn't even have the courtesy to come tell me himself/herself. I used to love shopping there as well as Banana Republic (also owned by Gap) but I won't shop at Old Navy again needless to say.

Store and employees are fine, just feel like the company has not produced quality products in a while.

Both locations South Park Meadows and Meuller were in complete disarray and did not have what I was looking for after the website said they had it in stock. What a waste of time. Also signs are misleading as to pricing.

I needed to return a dress that ripped up the back (10 inches at my but level on an a-line midi dress) the first time wearing it. They wouldn’t exchange the damaged item bc I removed the tags. They told me to call the corporate line who told me they couldn’t do anything because it bought it in store. I eventually called a different old navy who worked it out for me to return the dress since it’s clearly a damaged item. I expected better than the customer service I received at this location.

Hands down the worst Old Navy I’ve ever been to. It’s big, but I feel like I see smaller locations that are better stocked. Every single time I’ve been in, it’s a total mess. Tonight I stood in line for ten minutes while the cashier helped someone with a return. The cashier didn’t acknowledge me, nor the gentleman in front of me, once. Not to say hello, not to apologize for the wait, not to reassure us that she’d get someone else to help out. I know for a fact there was someone else working. I eventually just left without buying anything. I should’ve learned my lesson the first dozen times I went - do yourself a favor, drive a couple miles out of the way to go to another Old Navy.

I like their jeans and shirts. I personally always go there when I need new jeans. There is a good amount of clothing for the whole family.

Staff was very friendly, but the check-out line was long. There was Only 1 Cashier and 1 register open, but plenty of other Staff was present.

Pretty upset. They tell people they give 50% off of your purchase, but then they don't honor that discount or understand their pricing. The manager rolled her eyes when I explained that blatant misinformation is dishonest. You lie to me, waste my time, and then the actual GM rolls her eyes. Guess I'll cancel my new credit card.

This is my favorite Old Navy. The crew at this store strive for cleanliness and order- which can be soooo challenging at certain times of the year.
