Olive Garden Italian Restaurant reviews
36 Food and service good as usual
but the portions have shrunk and the prices have increased. Not sure it's worth going often.
Always clean and friendly ppl. Love their food wish they had the endless pasta back. Fresh bread sticks with unlimited soup and salads. Their pastas are really good specially tour of Italy and seafood Alfredo. Rare when i had an issue but if I did they fixed it no problem.
Food was good. Service was really bad. Waiter was more interested in serving table that came in after me, then serving both tables.
Good food, the place needs cleaning and dusting, The Manager came out and she was really nice but she didn't have a professional appearance. The waitress was excellent.
The breadsticks are leftover from the day before when you get there at opening time. If you want a fresher meal wait until later in the day to go. Otherwise, the food is good.
Called ahead to make sure they could seat us and make sure there wasn’t a wait. Got there and then they tell us they couldn’t.
My husband took me on a date here because I love chicken parm fettuccini Alfredo (not a fan if the grilled chicken). Anyway loved our service & they weren't too crowded.
In all honesty I guess if I was a fan of Italian type of cuisine i'd probably give it a five star. But I'm not. The atmosphere was nice though.
Horrible and pur waitress knew it. Nobody waited on us for a long time after being sat. We waited for everything. Dont get the neverending pasta bowls unless you want to wait 30 minutes each time and the breadsticks did not come out because we were told they were baking. The waiters did not know what tables were who's the whole time. Ours apologized in the beginning to us but the mass confusion continued at the tables surrounding us. The coke zero was out and our waitress said it would be an unknown time for it to be fixed/changed out. We waited too long for everything. We waited for a waiter, we waited for drinks, we waited for salad and breadsticks, we waited for main entrees, we could not find our waiter to reorder more pasta and we waited and waited. An hour and a half should have been plenty of time for two people to sit and have a nice meal but at Olive Garden in Longview it was not. Our waiter apologized every single time she came to the table. Nice of her to apologize but should not be how things are done. We never even saw our bill because we needed to go and were not going to wait for that either. We handed her our payment with her again apologizing and left. Not how two parents wanting a nice dinner out wanted it to go. I wish we would have just stayed home. As is, the whole thing ran us late to pick up.our son and we didnt6e en have time to eat our second dish of pasta by the time we finally got it. Again, 90 minutes should have been more than e ought time. Only two people.
Won't be back.
Were there 10-30-19
I had a great experience tonight; Olive Garden, is like an apple pie made by grandma: you always want more and want to share the experience with others. (Also had a great waiter, too- by the name Rickie S. Great guy and awesome with the suggestions
The server was kinda nervous, but that couldve been to him being new. The food was great and it came hot to the table, and since it was busy the server did at times take a little too long to get our drinks. Overall I would highly recommend this place.
Very friendly staff! They were awesome the older Mexican man with the gold in his mouth that waited on our table. Perfect service
Restuarant version of the pumpkin spice latte.typically seems suited for women or dates food is tasteless and not filling. I've eaten here probably 2 dozen times at least hoping for better. I've eaten bunches of their dishes they are all the same best thing they have is soup.plus salad only comes with vinegar house dressing.
Great waiter but they always change the menu so when I do go in there I always have to find something else.
Was the worst service I have had in a long time they were even out of meat balls who does that when one of your main lunch specials is meat ball pizza bowl plus like i said the service was horrable endless salad and bread stick and the guy one brought out one salad one bread in 45min we were there only seen the waiter to bring my food and ticket!
Ive visited Olive Garden in many other places, but the Longview, Texas one is by far one of the best ones.
The staff was very helpful. I really felt appreciated the entire visit. I didn't go there to boost my spirits, it just happened that way. Thanks Olive Garden.
This place is not what it used to be. The service is terribly slow. We've been seated and had to wait 5+ minutes just to see a server. The dishes reek of wet dog smell, which is from a dirty dishwasher. The fake plants and woodwork are layered in dust. We won't be returning.
Service is wonderful and the food is amazing! Kids servings really do feed an 11 year old who is never not hungry!
