Omahas Surplus reviews
28One of the very first surpluses I've been visited and I keep coming back despite the store size they have a wide variety of military gear that still keeps me interested. Helpful and nice staff that can help you find anything in the store. A good place to wander around for and I usually come back in a few days or a week to buy something. Me and my friend visit alot and we both like it.
Well, I took my Son to Omaha's when he was visiting from the Houston area. He really flipped out and wev'e gone every time since then.except this last w/e when he brought his Son w/ him. Dang it! I wanted to go, too! Well, looks like I ' be started something (good). Just made sure he lets me know if he's coming to Omaha's next time. Dan
They were vary help full when it came to looking for surten gear and just an overall great store
Far as the pants go in the clothes and everything else they always have what you need and good quality
Very cool place, got lots of good stuff. Check it out if you like old army stuff and other tactical items
Very knowledgeable staff, they have a huge inventory l. You can find any surplus items you may need.
Each person in the store helped me with a Christmas project about my granddaddy that I am doing for my mother this year.they helped me find badges and patches and stickers and hats and shirts and anything else that would have to do with his ranking or his awards or his medals. I was very impressed with the customer service & the selection of everything they had. I highly recommend checking them out.they have everything from past military to present.it is somewhat of an Easter egg so be patient while you look for the location because it is definitely worth the hunt.
Omaha's Surplus is an awesome army navy store. Besides the normal military clothing, patches, pins, and gear, they have a lot of interesting things.airplane parts, a Willys Jeep, historical items, etc. It's a fun, unique place to shop and browse. The employees were helpful and they either have in stock or can find just about anything you need.
Probably the best army navy surplus shop I've been to in North Texas!
Really cool store! If you’re a veteran living in the DFW metroplex and you haven’t visited Omaha’s Surplus then You’re Doing It Wrong. Check ‘em out brothers and sisters.
You need it? They’ve got it.

If you're in the market for some military / army surplus item of some kind then go to Omaha's Surplus. If they don't have it ask them because they probably know where you can get it.
My wife stopped in here while out of town and decided she wanted to bring my son and I here. We live over 3 hours away so she asked for the hours and they told her to take a picture of the sign. A couple of weeks later we came up but they were closed! They changed the sign!
They had just closed though and there was an employee outside. I explained that the four of us had driven four hours to come here and asked if there was anything he could do. Here said we should have called and then peeled out in his car. Nice.
Selection is impressive. Quality of selection is surprisingly good. Service from staff is top notch.
This place is simply Amazing! We found Combat boots without zippers there.the way boots should be.
Great place to browse for militaria surplus. You can find all kinds of items for camping & outdoor activity.
Been here a few times great place you'll find what you need and more, the staff is extremely nice and polite they always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you go home happy definitely worth the 35 minute drive.
Ever since having to move, this location has become way overpriced for their products. It is a surplus store selling clothing and equipment at retail pricing. Most of the stuff can be found on eBay or Amazon cheaper. Use uniforms are still running $40 and up and brand new uniforms are running over $60 as individual pieces. Hardly any of their boots are regulation colored or sized. They mainly carry paintball equipment end clothing at this point.
Andrew has gone here for many years. We love that it is consistently clean, well organized and stocked, and run by an efficient and smart family who greet Andrew by name when he walks in! Prices are excellent too. We try to be objective when we do this and mention anything of note, but there's nothing we could find that could be improved about Omaha. We have moved but still order online at GI Jungle.
If you're looking for military surplus, Omaha's is the place to go in Fort Worth. Huge selection, great prices and friendly, efficient staff.
I have been going to this place nearly 40 yrs. I can't remember the guys name that has worked there for so long but he is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Impossible to have a bad experience in this place. Don't care who you are, you'll find something in there you'll like
