OMG Tacos reviews
13Ugh, OMG Tacos used to be a favorite since moving to Dallas in 2017. Over the years it seems quality has gone down. Meat is sparse and tonight was the final time I’ll be back for a while, after the last three times I ordered takeout my order was filled with grease or chewy meat. I got a quesadilla and my boyfriend got a steak Cali burrito. The OMG pork used to be sooo good and it’s changed. Steak was chewy, fries were soggy. They are skeet about sauces, those tiny containers may be fine for tacos but if I’m spending $17 for a burrito I expect to have enough sauce to get through it. I’ve paid for extra sauce multiple times and have not received it, fortunately the $3 they force you to pay for an 8oz sauce was fulfilled this evening since my burrito didn’t come with spicy mayo as it was supposed to. Truly disappointing as this is one of very few places in DFW that you can grab a Cali burrito. However, knowing there are HUGE, quality Cali burritos in California (for a fraction of this cost in many places despite California prices being higher than Texas,) I just cant continue to support this low quality of food at this price.
Best tacos I’ve had by far in Dallas, especially Taco Tuesday with a side order of Mexican candy shots. The bartender showed great hospitality and service, will be back soon!
We used to go to omg religiously great tacos and the prices were great before Covid. They increased the price after and kept the quality and we would still order from them. We picked up an order today after not going for a few months and things definitely changed. They changed the way they make the tacos and went from white onions to green and added a white sauce. They used to be so good and flavorful now they’re bland and skimpy with the meat I won’t be going back.
Best tacos in Dallas. And the bartender Jackie is hands down the best and one of the reasons I’m a regular. OMG steak is bomb
WARNING we ordered 1 torta, plain nachos with no meat, 5 tacos, 3 drinks, and a small ellote.the total was $80.00. The nachos did have a good portion but not enough cheese. The worst 80 I have ever spent on food. There was nothing special about it. The only positive thing was the person taking our order was patient any helpful. Honestly I would only recommend as a last resort if no other Taco place is open. (THEY DO NOT ACCEPT SERVICE ANIMALS, WAS TOLD IT DOESN'T MATTER! NO ANIMALS GOOD THING MY DAUGHTER DIDN'T HAVE A SEIZURE WHILE WE WERE EATING)
Tacos are good. Great seasoning on the meats. Street tacos are just like everywhere else. Queso was good, and chips were fresh. Didn’t make 5 stars due to being a little pricey. Just over $50 for 2 people.
My family’s favorite place to get tacos and pizza is are always welcomed by the friendly staff!
OMG what a first impression! Took the whole family and everyone loved it. I enjoyed the OMG Pork and OMG Beef tacos, my daughter loved her quesadilla, my son ate all his OMG Elotes, and the wife enjoyed a pork bowl. Happy hour margaritas were a great addition! I will definitely be back again.
First time here. We were greeted when we walked in. You order and sit where ever you want. The place is small but set up nicely. They about 5 tvs. We was able to watch the basketball game. All our food came out hot and fresh. And tasted good. We have frozen margarita. They are strong. Happy hours from from 5pm-7pm. Great customer service. All the employees were really nice. We will be back to try other food and tacos.
OMG! Chicken tacos were greasy/oily and tasted stale. Felt like somebody pulled yesterday’s cooked meat from refrigerator and quick microwaved it OMG! Veggie taco was cold, overcooked, soggy and tasteless with a dollop of cold store bought guacamole. No freshness felt in these tacos. Not tasty either. I was excited to try a new taco spot but was left OMG! Disappointed, bad taste in mouth and tummy still hungry. I’m glad I didn’t get sick. My advice is try just one taco first before placing a big order. Their veggie burrito was acceptable.
The food was absolutely terrible. I don't have many words for it but terrible comes to mind.
OHH MIE GAWD! These tacos are the bomb! Super clean inside a lil wait but it is a lot great. $18 bones is pricy for 3 tacos but I add some bomb gauc and peco & got to have cheese. Salsa are perfect blend. Of taste and spicy
I thought OMG TACO was too bold but I am a believer!
YESSSSSS B-A-B-Y!
My favorite place in the world to eat tacos and they have them juicy AGAIN! The sauce that is already on there SOMEHOW makes you not need any sauce, however, I "must" use their DELICIOUS sauces. I use both; the red & the green ones!
Just got done eating some!
