As a newbie to skating, I came into his shop looking for my first pair of hockey skates. Not only did Gunnar take the time to explain the differences between the Bauer models, but he also helped me try on several pair of skates, looked through the catalog to see what cheaper options he could order for me, and even made suggestions for websites that I could buy skates online - instead of through him - if I wanted!
I was blown away by his zero-pressure sales approach and unbiased advice to buy what makes the most sense for my specific situation - not just trying to sell me the more expensive options to generate more revenue.
I highly recommend this store for anyone in the Amarillo area looking for skating and hockey supplies!
