Once Upon A Child reviews
11DONT WASTE UR TIME GOING THERE! Every time there’s a different problem when I go there. I called in yesterday and asked if they were accepting any clothes. They said yes and they open at 11 am. I go there at 11: 30 and they said they don’t accept any clothes anymore. They r talking instead of doing their work but they can’t accepting anything cause they r too busy gossiping.
Went in there with the hope of saving some money for my little one’s clothes since they grow out of it so quick. Size 2t jeans ran for $7 or more. What is funny is that I came across some exact Garanimals (Walmart) shorts that my daughter has which I bought brand new on clearance for $2. They were $2.50 used at this store. Also thought a sign that they have up in the toy section was extremely rude. It’s a store for littles and this is how they express themselves.
Honestly this store is not what it use to be. Prices are so high on items for sale and I know they’re buying them for really cheap. I brought them a brand new Disney rocker/bouncer and offered me 12 dollars for it because store value was supposedly 24 dollars. Then I showed the woman in the front that it wasn’t, it was worth 44.98 at Walmart, target and Amazon and she could only offer me 3 dollars more. I looked around to see how much they were selling their “gently used” items, it was almost full price. And some of them even had a stains on it. I rarely make bad reviews but it was sad to see people getting ripped off. Ross is on the other side of the shopping strip, might as well spend your money there and get your items brand new.
Do not sell your things here EVER, it is a total robbery. I do not doubt that the employees keep the money. I brought several items in good condition (toys, high chair) and calculating I could say that they gave me 2 dlls per item. And of course, they will sell it for $20 or $30 when they gave me a total of $27 for everything. I prefer to donate them. And don't expect a receipt either because they won't give it to you.
Starving.
They are very organized, it is easy to find what you are looking for, the clothes are of very good quality and at excellent prices. Highly recommended
This place is the worse! They never buy anything waste of time and the girls in the front are always rude! The only nice one is the guy. Don’t come here and waste ur time
I wish I could give ZERO stars! I normally do not post reviews but I feel it is necessary for everyone else who has been through what I have experienced with this company.
I have purchased many items from this store and I do think they have descent prices on used clothing for kids, however, these items are used and bought from other people. That is how this business survives.from people like us who sell their children's clothes for extra cash.
I have gone into this store TWO times to sell clothing-not just clothing, but baby clothing in excellent condition- some still with tags on them. The first time I went I was greeted by a VERY UNFRIENDY staff member who made me wait for several minutes, with hands full of items, just to tell me that they would not accept my baby clothes, I needed to go back another day, I could only sell what fit into one of their blue bins, and I only had a few hours to come back or I'd lose my cash and only get store credit.
So, I waited for my daughter to go with me. My daughter had just had surgery a couple of weeks prior to this next visit, so I did what I could to make it easy for her. The VERY first thing we heard was, "DO NOT BRING THAT CART IN THIS STORE! " That was our greeting. Too bad not one of them could ask if we needed help! VERY UNCARING people! Then, I started putting items into their "blue bins" and they would not allow us to continue because my daughter's drivers license was a few days expired! Like WHAT THE H**! What does a driver's license have to do with selling baby clothes! Again, we left with all our things after packing it up, unloading it, packing it up again, and unloading it again! So frustrating! Then, instead of ANY of them assisting us in getting our belongings back to our car, we were yelled at AGAIN not to take one of THEIR carts outside! I mean seriously! There lack of customer service is shameful! But this was just the push I needed! I plan to become their competition! No ID necessary! I hope they go out of business! People like that do not deserve to make money of our backs then treat us like we are trash! I don't think so! And this doesn't stop with just me. I have already told several of my family and friends about their unprofessionalism and lack of customer service! They will never see a penny from any of us as long as I can help it!
Worst place to come sell and buy baby clothes. Customer service is the worst! Not a friendly place at all, if you ask a store associate for assistance they have no clue how to help you or just dismiss you and what you are looking for. Super rude!
Selling things here is almost comical. If the prices in the store were low it would make sense, however they will give you 50 cents for an item and sell it for $10 which is almost what it costs new in store. I went in today and sold 30 brand new items (Nike, Jordan, and Calvin Klein) and they gave me $12.
This is the GO to store for baby clothes! I love it they have brand names and all types of clothes for baby's! And it's not expensive at all! Thankyou and thank God for places like this!
Staff is nice and helpful, and they have a large selection of items for purchase. Keep in mind it's used stuff, so some items can look a tad dirty. I only purchased some stuff, so can't speak on how selling items goes. Overall yeah I would go back again.
