One Shot Retrievers, Frankston TX

We decided our young lady really needed some real obedience training. She was a typical teenage type pup.

Needless to say after 6 weeks we went and picked her up today and couldn’t be happier. We immediately saw a great improvement. She was much more obedient and still appeared very happy and energetic.

We were given about a 1.5 hour class on the proper way to utilize the electronic collar and “Hands-on” training which was Very informative and through. We really liked the fact that we were constantly told if we had an issues or questions to just give them a quick email or text or call.

Can’t recommend one-shot retriever enough. It is money very well spent. You won’t be disappointed.

Alex and Grant recently trained the first lab we've owned, and they were easy to work with throughout the process. They were informative and guided us through the entire process with excellent communication. So grateful they trained our chocolate lab; he's now a well-trained & well-mannered part of our family.

Highly recommend Grant and Alex for obedience training! Our dog was very excitable and would rarely listen. After a few weeks when we went to pick up our dog, it was like we got a new dog! They are great people and helped us to help our dog obey! We can now go on walks without being pulled around the neighborhood! 10/10 recommend!

They really go above and beyond and brought out the full potential of my hard headed pit bull. Hands down the best trainers in the area. A value from a financial stand point. Highly recommend.

Nothing but great things to say about my experience with One Shot. I had my 8-month Labradoodle, Leia, there for the 6-week obedience training and got a totally different dog from the one I dropped off. It was a world of difference! I can comfortably take walks and be out and about without having to really worry about her anxious and overly excited behavior. 10/10

We took our 6 month old Frenchie, Clover, to Alex and Grant for their 6-week advanced obedience training course. None of us were sure what to expect (given the notorious stubbornness of Frenchies) but Alex and Grant totally mastered the training of this pup!

Though we weren't their typical clients, Alex and Grant took us anyway, and we couldn't be more thankful. We now have a small dog that listens as well as one of the big dogs, and it was worth every penny. We'll send every dog we have in the future to One Shot!

I couldn't be more happy about the decision to leave our dog in the hands of OSR! Facilities are top notch, and a short drive outside of Dallas. Alex and Grant took great care of our Lab and I am really grateful for their passion an enthusiasm they showed working with all the dogs! We wouldn't have the well trained dog we have at home and in the field without their time and dedication they put into the training. Best in the business, professional, and motivated. Thank you OSR!

We couldn't be happier with the training our 2 dogs received! Our dogs have a lot of energy and they didn't like to listen and we didn't have the know how or the time to train them. One Shot Retrievers was a godsend and now they listen unbelievably well. They still have the energy but now they can go on walks without tugging, listen to every command, and basically can be off leash without them taking off to wherever. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone who needs a dog trained!

Couldn't be happier with our chocolate lab's training after getting him back from OSR. Alex and Grant did everything we were hoping they would with him. From drop off to pick up we felt like we were in the know with everything going on, and knew he was in great hands! We were blown away by the amazing facility they have. Highly recommend!

OSR was outstanding. Our lab Georgia spent about 3-4 months there and was awesome in the field her first year.

Took our five year old Doberman for obedience training. We were given very clear and attainable expectations. Both Grant and Alex were extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. Upon completion, Grant spent many hours patiently teaching how to use proper commands and checked in regularly after training was completed. I will continue to bring all future Dobermans to this facility.

Alex and Grant are amazing with dogs. We sent our golden doodle through their obedience program. And now our golden doodle sits on demand and stays by our side when we walk her. We took our chocolate lab to them when she was 6 months old. She went through obedience training and then began training to be a duck hunting dog. My husband and I have been so impressed watching our lab progress through the different phases of training. There is no one else I would recommend if you are looking to have your dog trained. Alex and Grant are so knowledgeable and attentive to the dogs they are training. I highly recommend One Shot retrievers.

Alex and OSR are the best gun dog trainers in all of ETX! They did an awesome job with my chocolate lab Beau, in just 2-3 months he was ready for duck season. Very professional and an amazing training facility.
