OneTaco Taquería @ Frost Tower reviews
18I got two al pastor and one carne asada tacos and spent the whole night over the toilet throwing up. I 100% got food poisoning so learn from my mistakes. Don't eat here unless you want to be throwing up all night.
The barbacoa was on point and the tortillas were fresh and perfectly flakey. They also have a cappuccino drink mixed with Horchata served over ice that was excellent.
Taco’s for the people. Easy, consistent and amazing. This was my go to for breakfast every day for the week I visited Austin.
Trust me when I say your going to want more than one taco! My husband always gets the specialty tacos and never has gone wrong. My go to are the street tacos. I'm not normally a chicken fan but they have turned me into one! The flavors are amazing by themselves but the sauces are too good to pass up! It's hard to have favorites when it's all so good. Go hungry so you can try it all!
Three blocks from the Austin Convention Center in Frost Tower. Ordered a couple of Liflower tacos with street corn. Tasty!
The Taco's are very delicious and akin to Taco's you buy from a food truck. It's very affordable and the homemade salsa is very delicious and fresh every time.
Super flavorful and reasonably priced!
I had the asada tacos, the barbacoa tacos, and the Taco Jefe, and not a single one let me down. Wonderful! Will definitely return!
Sorry I didn’t have time to picture the tacos!
Great environment, great music and GREAT tacos! I had the Bandera and the Liflower. Something about grilled cauliflower! Also very fast making time! Barely had time to sit down. 10/10
Worst Taco I've ever had.flour instead of corn based Tortillas, unfriendly service, the table and floor were really dirty. Inedible, so I threw my tacos away.
What was good though was the music and the decoration of that place.
Amazing, authentic tacos! Definitely worth the stop if you are visiting Austin. I would’ve taken a picture but it was too good to stop to take one! Great if you like spice, too.
The Pastor is delicious because they cook it the right way on the skewer. The sauce options are great. Pretty cheap for being downtown.
Had a couple of tacos - carne asada and la gringa. Both quite good. I’ve definitely had better, but I would not hesitate to come back here. I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but it didn’t blow my mind, so can’t give 5. The flan was prepackaged and was also quite good.
Their online ordering is not at all user-friendly. When I searched for the location nearest me, it was less than 1/2 mile away. I selected it & placed my order, only to be confirmed that I needed to pick up downtown - 11 MILES AWAY.
I tried calling multiple times to cancel the order, but nobody answered.
Very disappointed you got rid of the Salad. That was one of the best items on the menu, and I love tacos.
What always brought me back here was that salad.
Tacos were amazing. But I don’t recommend grabbing one of those roasted peppers unless you want something really, really, really hot.
These were pretty damn good. Carne Asada and Norte tacos were both good. Mexican street corn was just meh, but that's my fault for not making sure what form this was. It came in a cup rather than on the cobb like I expected 'street' corn to come.
Have been to this place a couple times before. Really liked it and recommended to Dallas friends. Stopped by at 9: 30p on a Saturday and the cook yelled at my family and I from the kitchen, to let us know they were taking to go orders ONLY so we wouldn’t sit down on the tables. I get it, he wanted to leave, but we were not planning on staying the whole night. Maybe shouldn’t stop at all next time.
