This is the first time I’ve left at a decent time. Work completed. And good time estimate of the work required. I was happy and satisfied. Also first time I had no problems with the coupons and my VW cc. The young girl there at the cashier was so sweet, fast and helpful at the register. First time I hadn’t had to wait forever yet I was still there a good 3-3 1/2 hours. Shuttle guy, Joseph, was also so incredibly courteous and nice. I was very happy with my service advisor Brian. Overall I was extremely pleased with the new staff/personnel. The only thing is VW needs a working phone charging station and more than 1 for customers waiting. And some good magazines and tv stations. Not to mention loaner cars for customers. There were none and this is unheard of. This is not the first time either. You need to have a rental car agency on site like Enterprise. Also, the service advisor used to text updates on car, but I did not get any this time. I recommend VW cars. I’ve had 2 now. And I recommend this onion creek dealership, but especially I recommend Brian, as a service advisor; He’s probably the best I’ve had there in the 5 years that I’ve been going there; he is very nice, fast, friendly, honest, communicative, and thorough. The 2 annoying factors: the parts dept slams your call on to hold when you call before you can even say hello. Also, at the cashier only one person knows how to charge to the vw credit card and half the time it doesn’t work … it just seems ludicrous that no one knows how to charge to the vw cc! You’d think they’d have all staff experienced and knowledgeable on their own finance card.

Took my car in for the 30k servicing a week, give or take a few days, before last Wed, then it sat in my garage unused. Took it out on the said Wed for the first time since the servicing and there was a knocking sound coming from the rear. I had to take it back to them. It's still sitting there as I type this a full 8 days later. Still has not been looked at with no firm date when they will look at it, and they could not even provide a loaner.

Had a great experience at ONION CREEK VOLKSWAGEN with Reggie! Reggie went above and beyond to get me the 2023 VW Tiguan I wanted and took time to explain the car features and overall process. He was very informative, helpful and overall pleasant to be around. I love my new car!

I have had good and bad experiences here. Usually all is fine until this past time I brought my car in to get the air conditioning fixed. We worked with Michael, who was not good at communicating at all. My car had been in shop for a week and after many calls we finally reached Michael and asked for a rental car. Fast toward a full month, the car is finally ready for pickup. When I arrived to get the car there were brand new dents on it that weren’t there before. Now leaving the dealership back in the rental while they fix this!

Bro I’m here right now. We’ve been here since 4pm and it’s 8: 30pm now. Still haven’t finished purchasing the vehicle. Extremely pushy and shady sales tactics. They’ve been trying to push the extended warranty down our throats. Even brought in some other dude to further explain. Bro, we did our research, drive like a slow grandma and we can expect repair costs to at very worst be equal to warranty costs over 8-10 years of ownership. No dude, no means no. Came in for the July 4th sale too and none of the sales actually applied to our car. “Up to $2,500 off! ” The catch is the “up to” so they just went ahead and said $0. Hahaha, almost started laughing sometimes through the whole deal. Ok so after saying no multiple times my wife starts signing all of the papers and she notices that the extended warranty is there, after we had said no to their pushy sales tactic for extended warranty. So after 10 pages were signed they all had to be re-done again to remove the warranty. Right after signing all the papers AGAIN to buy the vehicle they pull the rug on us on the July 4th sale they were supposedly having. Terrible experience. Do not come and do your business elsewhere. Anyways, it’s 8: 39pm it’s closed and we’re still here. Oh also, they could see that we were noticeably bothered by their tactics and they are still on your literal face. Please stop, you are scaring people away. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID! I get to make this review coming out of an extremely pleasant Ford experience. Night and day difference. Go there instead. Edit: oh to top it all off the $1.50 M&Ms were marked up to $3.00. Edit #2: Woah dude… their toilet don’t even flush!
Edit #3: Can’t believe VW took out basic a basic feature that’s been on cars since the 1960s such as raising the passenger side seat.
Edit #4: My license Ford plates already came in a week and this VW dealer isn’t even sure if they’ll be here in a month+

I had an appointment to take care of a low air tire pressure light as well as a message on the dashboard stating passenger front tire is low (I thought the tire had a nail). My appointment was at 5 pm, but I got there at 4: 30. Right from the start things went in the wrong direction. Especially since I decided to wait at the dealership until the repair was done. First, the service representative took 15 minutes to greed me. Second, my car was given to me at 7 pm, and this only because I asked the young lady in the register. To my surprise, the tire didn't have a nail in it, so they only put air to match the other three tires. It took 2 1/2 hours just to put air in the tire?

Because this location not only answered my call but also accommodated to me unlike other locations. It was a bit of drive but worth it. They have availability even few days from me to be flexible. Staff was very friendly and verified appropriately time it would take.

My dash cam was hanging off and turned off in both the front and back. I have no idea why they would do that, but either way I wish they would have installed it back instead of getting my car back with the dash visibly hanging off. It was like it was a joke, or just plain unprofessional. I was going to bring it back the next day. But was told it will take 3-4 days to look at. So, yea. Not a good experience. And my bill was $175 more than what I was quoted. Just a mess. Glad my car works and is fixed. Oh, I also had a blank brochure in my car about carbon build up a service I had done

I recently purchased a new 2023 Volkswagen ID. 4 from VW Onion Creek, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The sales team, Reggie, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions and test drive before buying the car. They also helped me get a great deal on my trade-in, which was a Tiguan that I had also purchased from them. I am a returning customer and I will keep comming back.

Went to accompany a friend buying a car and Reggie made sure I was taken care of as well. He was great answering questions and explaining clearly every step of the process and didn’t hesitate to advocate for us. Great experience!

Once I decided to switch to an EV, I did a ton of research on which would be the best fit for my needs. I narrowed in on two cars and the VW ID. 4 was one of them.

When I reached out to Onion Creek VW I received a follow-up video from Reggie showing me a walk-around of one of their ID. 4's that met my needs. I really appreciated this because other dealerships had been calling me daily, even when they did not have a car on the lot, while with Reggie I saw the car and I knew it was available. I was busy for a couple of weeks, but Reggie was patient and welcoming when I finally had a chance to come in and test drive. He was very knowledgeable and kindly agreed to drive it first so I could see the basics before trying it myself. Although I loved it, I wasn't ready to pull the trigger as I wanted my spouse try it also, but he was out of town. Reggie generously offered to let me take the car for 2 days to drive it until my spouse returned to Austin. Additionally, Reggie gave us a competitive offer on the car, which is tough to come by with popular EV's.

I am happy to say that after that extended test drive, we bought the car and even named it "Reggie-Noir" (Reggie had suggested the name "Noir", and we loved Reggie so much we put his name in too!). I wasn't able to schedule a home installation for the EV charger until 2 weeks out, so Reggie said I could swing by the dealership and he would help me charge it in the interim. He was helpful, considerate, and professional throughout the entire process. I am hoping my daughter buys her first car with Reggie down the road so she can also have such a great experience!

*If financing any part of the purchase, read the contract very carefully. The protection package was written into our contract without any mention of the cost, making it sound like it was included. Once we noticed the difference in the original quoted amount, we saw the charge and it is very significant. We asked to have it removed and a new contract had to be drawn up. The woman assisting us went from friendly to cold once we asked that the package be removed, but ultimately we got the deal we had agreed upon. Despite this bump, I still highly recommend the dealership because working with Reggie is amazing.

Was attended to by friendly reps, and was taken care of in a timely manner. And I felt like your service shop is very honest - not trying to sell me something when i don't really need it (like filters, etc). And the prices for basic services are very fair.

Reggie went above and beyond to get me the 2023 VW Atlas that I wanted in the exact trim level and color. I don't buy cars often and knew what I wanted and he met my challenges, honored the pricing agreement even when the vehicle turned out to be hard-to-find and communicated clearly about options. Ask for Reggie when you go to Onion Creek!

I've had good AND bad experiences here. Be wary of being sold things you'd definitely don't need. Was told my cabin air filter needed replacing, but after pulling it out on my own, I discovered that they used a different filter photo to scare me with when they sent over the request (see images - my filter looks pretty decent in comparison to the one they sent me). I also had a battery replaced here less than a year ago and they didn't deal with the original corrosion, so my new battery is already starting to corrode. Based on these experiences, my confidence in these guys doing right by me has gone way down.

Shortened version of my original review:

- VW admitted that a tech falsified my state and multipoint inspection, left my vehicle in the bay for hours, and allowed me to drive off the lot with a brake/safety issue that I had scheduled an appointment to resolve

- VW attempted to falsify my alignment status on a subsequent visit, despite paying to align my care at this VW 30 days before, and not driving my vehicle since then

Only dealership in town with Continental tires that fit my car in stock! They squeezed me in last minute on a Saturday to switch out a tire I found a nail in earlier that day. All the staff were very kind and got my tire change done in 40 minutes. Super impressed!

The team did excellent! I stoped in the early morning I was quickly greeted. I needed an oil change however I have an interlock on my vehicle and I was worried because I was not sure how that would affect the vehicle being maintenance. To my surprise they handled the situation very well and made my experience extremely comfortable. I look forward to my next visit.

I had such a great experience with Onion Creek VW.
Scott in particular was extremely helpful. He helped me over the phone as much as possible before I was able to come in and solidify things with the paperwork. He didn’t try to over sell, he let the car speak for it self which was highly appreciated. He’s an old veteran which also made the experience more pleasant because I’m in the military. Thank you Scott for the best/smoothest car buying experience. Highly recommend Onion Creek VW to others. Even if you think you don’t want a VW, yes you do.

I chose 5 stars because the service and support I received while purchasing my new vehicle was unmatched. Onion Creek Volkswagen has really out done themselves and it made my experience one I will never forget! I recommend them 100%!
