Onyx at Oslo Apartments, San Antonio TX

The absolute greatest experience! Valerie and Arionne service was straight forward and professional! Great staff! Everybody has a winning attitude! A truly great place to be! Thank you to the staff

Let's see to begin with, the administration staff is very friendly. I have no complaints about that 10/10. They are attentive and very helpful. The facilities are good and we didn't like the room they gave us first because it had many details, so they did everything possible to change us to a new one with higher quality. This new room had new things like the oven and the refrigerator, the room was also clean, only the air conditioning was somewhat dirty, full of dust and mold.
Several points must be improved and they are very, very important if they want to gain many more clients, since some of them are for the safety of the inhabitants of these apartments:

1. - The vehicle entrance to the apartments is too small, you must quickly join the entrance if you do not want someone to bump into you from behind when entering. It should have 1 input and 1 output.

2. - The apartment complex only has a metal barricade on the back and one side. It should be completely surrounded for greater security and privacy. Since there are 2 canteens and a place where cigarettes are sold. It is easy for someone from outside the apartments to enter them and that does not give me much security.

3. - the side entrances to the apartments where the code doors are, are somewhat dirty and smell somewhat bad.

With this I am not saying that everything is bad, they are simply details that I wanted to emphasize and that must be improved. The facilities are good and I 100% recommend living here.
Congratulations to Miss Valerie, she is excellent. I add something extra and it is very important, I am tired of the fact that we do not have mail, they receive everything in the office and sometimes it takes them a while to leave the mail from the office, to the package room. I need an urgent mailbox, please!

Low price is nice I guess, but don’t let it fool you. The staff are kind (at least to my face.) but the maintenance people really don’t care; took them 3 weeks of pestering to get them to fix something for me, and they only did 1 of the 3 things I talked about. Dripping tub and windows that don’t seal properly are still an issue, so noise, bugs, and mildew are present. You are also beholden to the internet they provide the entire property, so when it goes down you’re out of luck for many hours because you’re not in charge to ask anyone to fix it. Also, there is a smoke shop, liquor store, and bar next door. These businesses could not care less, the customers throw trash all around the front and sides of their properties, and even some on the grass and sides of this property. The patrons rev their engines at night in the weekends, and every so often people will have loud arguments, fistfights, and brandish guns. Unlikely to renew unless God hates me.

I loved living here never had any issues. I was literally there 4th resident from the start. Maintenance is super nice and attentive. Valerie and Arryon are both nice and understanding. Valerie has worked with me in my time of need to the best of her ability and I am grateful. The only thing I was annoyed with was the loud cars on the access road but that’s just because of location. I’d come back and live here again in a heartbeat.

The complex is ok, the gym is missing weights so it's a half a gym, the game is missing pieces sometimes cause there are kids in there un supervised, the hallways are dirty the stairs smell like piss, Valerie is a bully she's very rude and unprofessional, the parking is ridiculous with having to get a parking from the office so you can't have un planned guest or more than one which is stupid if your paying rent, the mailboxes haven't worked for months so you have to wait until when the office is open which is a real inconvenience, Arionne is nice and the Matience guys are nice, it's good that it's all bills paid but that's about it honestly

Let me start by saying this place should be ashamed to even call themselves an apartment complex and Valerie should not be a manager. Trash everywhere, strange people everywhere, smoke smell and loud neighbors. Sometimes it’s no hot water & 2 burner stoves just stop working honestly this place isn’t worth $1200 a month for a 1 bed

Horrible place to live, ALL THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE.they ask you to write them during move in. Apartment manager Valerie is very rude and unprofessional. They have “inspections” every month (they are just being nosey), cars are being towed for not having passes but there is no visitors parking, there’s always trash and small roaches in the hallways and maintenance doesn’t do anything when something needs to be fixed just stay away from here

From the moment I moved in, it has been a remarkable experience, thanks in large part to the incredible staff and maintenance team, particularly Arionne.

Arionne has been an absolute gem. She is always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Her professionalism and warm personality truly make Onyx at Oslo feel like a welcoming community. She goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are well taken care of, and her dedication to making this complex a great place to live is evident in everything she does.

Many residents leave trash in the hallway causing a bad smell. The stairs are always dirty and the entrance to it. There is a lack of active maintenance in the facilities. Even the resident's private postal service is out of service, everything arrives at the office and some letters or orders are lost or delivered late. The maintenance request for the apartment takes time. At the beginning of moving it was fast, then it tends to take time. It still goes more than two weeks that my requested service is not attended. The gym is not yet fully equipped. There are positive things in the complex but there are more negative ones. It is a new complex and needs to improve the service, customer service, facilities and cleanliness.

Living here has been like a dream! I love that they have a game room and nice swimming pool!

Great place to stay and they also have great amenities like arcade room, gym and a nice pool.

I love living here! Everyone is so respectful and nice.the amenities that are provided are great! Especially the trash pick up. Always clean. I'm very proud to be able to call it home.

Just moved in. Cynthia was very helpful and we managed to sign the lease the day we applied. Everything is brand new, common areas are well equiped and more equipment is on the way. Walking distance to UTSA campus. Pet friendly!

I don’t think I can say enough praise about the staff at this apartment complex!

First, my interactions with Ana was what made me move forward with leasing an apartment at Onyx @Oslo. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, reliable, prompt, and exceptional customer service. If her boss happens to read this, please give her a raise!

Second, Cynthia, the property manager. I am
beyond grateful to her for being so accommodating and understanding. I had to purchase all new furniture and it was all shipped in boxes. She not only stored those huge boxes for me but also kept them safe and secure. It took me a couple of days to finish hauling all of the boxes out her office and Cynthia is an angel for dealing with all of it.

Third, their in-house handyman, Rogelio. This man was too an angel sent to save my life! Ok am being a little extra, but seriously he went above and beyond in helping me as well. All of these 3 staff members went above and beyond when they didn’t have to and they deserve to be recognized for it.

10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lied to my face saying there was no credit check in application. Told me the application would be approved or not within 24 hours. 3 days later told me I was rejected due to credit when I did not approve a credit check. Ruined my credit further and stole my money.
