John was pretty clear about what my vehicle needed. It took a long time for my car to get fixed due to a parts issues. I had to constantly call for updates because no one called with updates or returned calls.
It was a bit expensive and no breakdown of exact services was provided. I picked my vehicle up Monday and was told the invoice breakdown would be emailed. Well it's Sunday and nothing has been received.

We have used these guys, and sent other people to these guys, probably about 10 times. They are always honest, stand by their work, and are a pleasure to work with!

Was recommended to this place by my repair shop. Issue was repaired in a couple of days and John showed me everything he fixed and even showed the damaged parts he removed and what he put on it to remedy the issue. This is an “old school” honest shop. Judging by all the cars they had lined up, Option is THE transmission shop to go to!

Had an issue with the rear end gear, had previous problems before with a different rear end on same vehicle. Only 20k since last issue, 120k total on this rear end due to previous insurance replacement. John knew exactly what the issue was and how to fix. Damage was more extensive then originally thought. Drives better than day truck was originally purchased, no more high pitched squealing and wondering if I'll be able to actually make it from point A to B and back safely. Very pleased with final result, would gladly recommend to anyone. Very reasonable on price and peace of mind knowing that repair was done correctly, on the first time. Hope I don't need further repairs on other vehicles in the future, but know where I will go if the need does arise.

I just recommended this shop to a co-worker. I have not had work done here in over a decade. I brought in my 4 or 5 year old 2007 Jeep Compass in and was very satisfied with the work. John was so courteous and professional that here I am recommending him after not being there in such a long time (I have been blessed enough to have new vehicles that haven't needed repairs). I am sure he is still doing great work for his customers.

Well, I went there for a transmission issue and they knocked it out of the park. Money well spent. So I referred a family member to them with a nice newer muscle car with an issue they fixed, but the ac was another. John charged her a good penny, over 1k of work, promising that the ac issue was now good to go. Claiming it had a leak, he charged over 500 for that job. After 3 times taking it back, my family member found out, John was just filling up the ac with freon, not letting any other of his crew touch the vehicle. My family member finally blew up, and got the money back because it seemed like he just saw a cash cow with my family member. She took it somewhere else and they fixed it over night, finding out that the compressor was out. I feel like option transmission was trying to do something that stretched out my family member’s wallet. Just can’t trust people these days.

Honest and reliable business. My family has been coming here for years because the owner and mechanics have always been up front and honest about all our repair work. I’ve had a full transmission swap for my Jeep Cherokee here and they made the whole process so easy and reasonably priced, and the repair work has held up over the years. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Other repair shops recommend Option for transmission work... And I know why. They're very good at what they do. Personal service, courtesy, professionalism, good work, great prices. We'd previously - two years ago - had the transmission rebuilt on our 2013 Nissan Quest. Prior to that - several years ago - Option Transmission did some fine work on a Honda Odyssey we used to have. So, this was our third time as an Option customer. As usual, John, the owner, was his personable and jolly self. He makes customers feel at-home and confident. His work is excellent. If he rebuilds or works on your transmission - you won't have transmission problems anymore. When we brought our Nissan Quest back to Option, we thought it might be a problem with the rebuilt transmission - but it turned out to be a leak in an engine seal. Although Option is a transmission specialist, they fixed the problem for us since we're established customers.

Took in a work truck after getting an unreasonable quote for some electrical diag. At another shop. John was very professional and honest. Came in at the quote and they fixed a real head scratcher fast and correctly. I'll be referring everyone to this full service shop. I was super impressed! Saved me $400

John at option transmission is amazing! They received a defective part from the dealer and replaced it without charging for any additional labor. Overall very fair priced and pleasant to work with.
