Optometry Clinic - UT Southwestern, Dallas TX

Great doctors and staff! I had major eye surgery and have been very pleased with the results.

Where to begin. It took 3 attempts just to get an appointment for a new patent. Entire appointment with doctor was 15 minutes. Desperately needs to update medical exam equipment. My bill for vision "services" $140 WITH vision insurance. I would be interested to know what they billed the insurance company. First and only time I will go here. Could have gone to a vision center at Target without vision insurance and paid less. No customer service or value to go here.

Totally rude and incompetent staff. They book you with the wrong doctor, they are rude when you call, and they treat patients like big inconvenience. The only reason I still go is my dr.is good, but getting to an appointment and dealing with rude staff is a nightmare.

Love how the team of Doctors treat me! They really care about your eye health and move quicky.

I scheduled an appointment with them over a month ago, for optic neuritis and other issues. They waited until today to tell me that they no longer accept my insurance and that my appointment TOMORROW is canceled.

My vision loss didn't seem to concern them.
I also got blamed for not knowing they were not covered.when they called to schedule me and confirmed my insurance, a month ago.

Have been a patient at UTSW for several years. I see their doctors mainly for routine eye care. The doctors are always attentive and thoughtful. Staff is always warm and friendly. Prices are competitive. Would recommend for both routine and advanced eye care.

Rebecca (ABOC) at the optical shop is so friendly and helpful. She definitely brightened up my day with the smile on her face.:)
