Gym Orangetheory Fitness reviews
16I love your coaches and the music is perfect! I like the whole concept of the training hour!
I like the instructors here but this OT is definitely catered towards older people. I guess that makes sense since we’re in the suburbs. The one in Austin I went to had 8pm weekday classes and 4pm weekend classes. Some days we want to sleep in! They’re even taking away 12pm weekend classes in January at this location
Good cardio type workouts, but poor customer service from the morning staff and management finally drove me and my family away. The management also plays games when it comes to cancellation - they’ll try and get at least one more payment out of you after you submit cancellation in writing. There are better options out there if you are willing to spend that much money.
Vintage Park Orange Theory is awesome. Great workout, wonderful coaches, nice people and extremely clean and comfortable. It's my happy place, my therapy.
Just moved to Houston and extremely disappointed with this orange theory studio. I called early morning to cancel a class I booked to hopefully avoid the fee. After explaining that I had to take my dog to the emergency vet they went on to tell me that they will cancel my class this time but that I will need a better excuse in the future. This was absolutely disheartening to me that I had to explain myself in a very stressful situation and told it essentially wasn’t good enough. I ended up being able to come to the class so I rebooked. Once arriving I was told I was in the waitlist which was not demonstrated on the application. Overall very unpleasant encounter and will not be returning to this studio. Seems that they only care about money and not your mental well-being or fitness goals.
Today was supposed to be my first Orangetheory experience. I planned for this last night, was so exited to find a nearby fitness studio in this part of town…
They ask for new people to come 30 min early… but last minute something came up at work. I was rushing to get there on time, but sadly I arrived 10 minutes late for the orientation (still over 10 minutes before the class start time) and was told I couldn’t work out. They never shared with me that I had to be there at a certain time or couldn’t work out… if they had, I wouldn’t have wasted my time to drive there. Huge miss on the staff’s part. I would recommend better communication around this key piece of information.
Also… the staff was NOT polite about it at all! I was just stared at when I walked in with over 6 employees all standing around speaking to one another. The whole exchange made me very uncomfortable and put a bad taste in my mouth. All around it was an awful first try at Orangetheory, and I’m not so sure I care to try again.
Great workout! Kaitlin was was super helpful in getting me my membership set up. All the coaches and staff are top notch. I highly recommend stopping I. For a workout if you’re in town or joining if you’re local.
Best OTF studio, hands down. SA staff is flawless - kind, helpful, funny, involved, they know every single one of their members and honestly i have no idea how they do it! They remember names, favorite stations, life events, members' typical schedules.they are an absolutely perfect team. Coaches? Equally as perfect. They take the time to do form corrections, to offer modifications, to get to know the members, all while staying on schedule and motivating each of us. I hope i never have to change my home studio.otherwise I'm going to have to ask the whole team to move with me. I've visited several other studios and although they were great, I've yet to find one that has anything on VP!
I liked the attention from the OrangeTheory staff! Brooke and Coach Keenan were awesome! I also like the heart rate monitor! I like being able to tell how many calories I burned and how what my max heartbeat is!
I look forward to my weekly workouts! The staff is super friendly and the trainers Put on a great workout! Definitely recommend to anyone who needs that extra push.
Not what I was expecting at all! But that is a great thing, I honestly had no clue what the classes were about. However, Jordan helped out so much and made me feel so welcomed! The class was so much fun and you do not have to feel like you need to push yourself to a limit that you are not ready for. It is truly at your own pace. You are working out your whole body and not staying at one place and it definitely is fun. The coaches are there to help you during class with modifications, techniques and posture. Great energy and great customer service from Jordan!
Everything! How it pushes you, holds your accountable, you can see your results. The trainers are outstanding. Love the cardio - which most gyms don't focus on. Most are solely about strength - not whole body. With Orange Theory you get a complete workout!
I love this place! Jordan and Steele are always super kind and helpful. The coaches here are amazing and will always help you to do better. I used to not be a huge fan of working out until I started OTF, they make it so fun and enjoyable!
Love the orange theory concept! You got to try it
BUT make sure you go to a different location!
Staff are moody! Bend the rules according to their mood!
To be 100% fair 2 of the coaches are great but the some of the others, not even worth your time!
I frankly do not know where to start with my complaint against OrangeTheory the Vintage.
Few words to sum it up- unprofessional and disrespectful head coach-Shawn, Rude front receptionist Caitlyn, Bias and favoritism for select customers, Manager who is not there because of another job and his employees afraid to call him to handle a matter (sounds like a conflict of interest)
A full thorough email with details will be sent to corporate as I couldn't include the whole review here with details
I love Orange Theory, a great workout! I have been working out for a long time with a few changes, but after I enrolled in OT I started to see changes on my body! And I have to say that I enjoy the classes so much!
